Abstract

this paper, we investigate burst responses with rectangular waveform observed in an electrical circuit described by the MBVP equation.The study ofrectangular waves is motivated by an investigation of a pattern-#S==x6.-## neuron.It is known that most rhythmic behaviors such as respiration, locomotion and feeding are under the control of neuronalnetworks in central pattern generators.The snail'sfeeding rhythm [5], or rhythmic ingestive movements of the radula and mouth, is relatively simple and then the feeding neuron enables a better understanding of the neural basis of rhythm generation.Self-##x.46LSj.-# of the neuron show an interesting property such that the period of the wave monotonously depends on the variation of a physical parameter.This phenomenon isconsidered as an essence of making feeding rhythms.The purpose of this study is to clarify mechanisms of variou
