The culture of capitalism and the crisis of critique

By Jason Hickel and Arsaln Khan

Abstract

The article deals with the transformation of the Left critique of neoliberal capitalism from explicit opposition to acceptance of its basic tenets. The author notes that neoliberal ideology has created its own forms of political participation and activism, which permeates across social classes, religious and cultural affiliations and political prejudices.
