By U. Apel, H. Benaroya, R. Cesarone, M. Duke, P. Eckart and F. Eilingsfeld

Abstract

This is the second issue of the LBQ 2001, but no longer within the framework of the previous IAA Moon-Mars Committee, which has completed its assigned task to present a joint Moon-Mars Program Scenario. To continue our present efforts, this would require a formal proposal for forming an IAA Study Group, because the International Academy of Astronautics has decided to reform its committee structure. Meanwhile, we will we continue as "Lunar Development Forum " and remain motivated by the desire to support any activities leading to human space flight beyond low Earth orbit. As usual, I would like to thank the following contributors for their responses and information which I have received during the last three months
