Abstract

Thesis(Master) --KDI School:Master of Strategy & International Management,1998Market opening, following the launch of the World Trade Organization regime, poses difficult challenges to most corporations, because they cannot flexibly respond to the swiftly changing competitive environments simply by utilizing their own internal resources and capabilities. In this regard, most companies in the advanced countries, especially those engaged in high technology industries, have tried to strengthen their competitiveness by making collaborative relationships with other firms through strategic alliances.
