Center for Environment and Population (CEP) The Center for Environment and Population (CEP) is a non-profit research, policy, and public advocacy organization that addresses the relationship between human population, resource consumption, and the environment. The Center works to strengthen the scientific basis of policies and public outreach to achieve a long-term sustainable balance between people and the natural environment. CEP partners with leading organizations to link science to policy, public education and advocacy, to better understand and effectively address the issues.
