STAC members come primarily from universities, research institutions, and federal agencies. Members are selected on the basis of their disciplines, perspectives, and information resources needed by the Program. STAC publications focus on issues of importance to the Chesapeake Bay Program. This publication was supported by the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) through cooperative agreement CB-993043-04 with the Chesapeake Researc
