Restoration of a Part of a Mural Painting "Ascension of Jesus Christ" in the Interior of the Chapel of Our Lady of Sorrows in Broumov, Olivětín

Abstract

Bakalárska práca sa zameriava na reštaurovanie časti nástropnej maľby s vyobrazeným motívom Nanebovstúpenie Ježiša Krista. Nástropná maľba sa nachádza v kaplnke Panny Marie Bolestnej v časti Olivětín mesta Broumov. Interierová výmaľba kaplnky pochádza z obdobia baroka (18. storočie), predpokladaným autorom je pravdepodobne Jozef Hager. Práca sa skladá z reštaurátorského prieskumu a dokumentácie. Následne je doplnená o fotografickú, grafickú a textovú prílohu. Rozšírená kapitola tejto práce sa zaoberá rešeršou dostupných iontomeničov a ich použitím v reštaurátorskej praxi.The bachelor thesis focuses on the restoration of a part of a ceiling painting with a motif depicting the Ascension of Jesus Christ. The ceiling painting is located in the Chapel of Our Lady of Sorrows in the part of the Olivětín of Broumov. The interior painting of the chapel was made in the Baroque period (18th century), the presumed author is probably Jozef Hager. The thesis consists of restoration research and documentation. This is followed by a photographic, graphic and text supplement.
