In vitro synthesis of capped and polyadenylated mRNAs using baculovirus RNA polymerase

By Linda A. Guarino, Wen Dong and Jianping Jin

Abstract

The present invention relates to the use of baculovirus RNA polymerase for the production of capped and polyadenylated transcripts in vivo and especially in vitro. More particularly, the purified RNA polymerase of the present invention may be used to produce in vitro transcription and/or in vitro transcription/translation kits.U
