Abstract

I am grateful to all those who have contributed to the production of this study. First of all, thanks are due to OXFAM GB – Kenya Programme. In particular, I am grateful to Josie Buxton and Mohammed Mursal for their patience and incitement throughout the preparation of the study, as well as to their former colleague Karen Tibbo for stimulating my attention on the subject.
