Model-Based Design of Hybrid Systems

By Bernhard Schätz

Abstract

Model-based development adds the structuring and preciseness of formal approaches to the development process while being driven by the models of the application domain instead of mathematical formalisms. In this article we investigate how a model-based approach can help to define system boundaries, specify an abstract behavior of the system and the environment, ensure the suitability of the model, and repeatedly enhance the system with design decisions
