By Mohammed A. Al-Mannie

Abstract

The study sheds some light on the present practice in educational adminis-tration which is lacking behind technological advancement in other areas. Administration technology is not necessarily the use of machines, but it is introduced in this research to mean the use of techniques to improve deci-sion making, planning, and budgeting in education. Such techniques as System Analysis, Planning Evaluation Review Tech-niques , PERT, , and Planning Programming Budgeting Systems , PPBS, provide alternatives for making decisions. They save more time and resour-ces for administrators. Therefore, educational administratior. needs more modern techniques to improve present practice and educational administrators should be trained to meet the future needs in administration
