Effect of AngII-infusion and CSD treatment on caveolin and calpain isoforms in the heart and kidney.

Abstract

<p>Mice were infused with AngII or saline for 2 wk and received daily i.p. injections of CSD or vehicle. Extracts were prepared as described in the previous figure legends. (<b>A</b>) RIPA extracts of LV and kidney tissues were used in Western blotting experiments with antibodies against caveolin-1 (cav-1), caveolin-3 (cav-3) and β-actin (loading control). (<b>B</b>) RIPA extracts of LV tissue and kidney tissues were used in Western blotting experiments with antibodies against μ-calpain (μ-Calp), m-calpain (m-Calp), and β-actin (loading control). No statistically significant effects of AngII or CSD were observed.</p
