Svojstva govornog prometa u paketskim mrežama s razlučivim uslugama

Abstract

U radu je dan opis mreža s razlučivim uslugama u kontekstu prijenosa govora paketskim mrežama. Opisana je arhitektura čvorova ovako koncipiranih mreža na primjeru operativnog sustava Linux. Također su dani rezulati mjerenja svojstava govornog prometa na testnoj mreži s razlučivim uslugama, koncipiranoj na Linux operativnom sustavu.This work describes differentiated services networks in respect of voice over Internet protocol. Especially work is oriented to Expedited Forwarding PHB nodes for VoIP. It also gives an in detail architecture description of the typical diffserv node, based on the Linux operating system example. Differentiated Services (short: Diffserv) is an architecture for providing different types or levels of service for network traffic. One key characteristic of Diffserv is that flows are aggregated in the network, so that core routers only need to distinguish a comparably small number of aggregated flows, even if those flows contain thousands or millions of individual flows
