Abstract

From the reflections on the violence of Walter Benjamin, Simone Weil and Hannah Arendt, this essay analyzes the rewriting that Wislawa Szymborska, Sophia de Mello, Claribel Alegría, Margaret Atwood and María Zambrano make of a series of mythical figures who suffered the violence: the wife of Lot, Eurydice, the womenservants of Penelope and Antigone.Partiendo de las reflexiones sobre la violencia de Walter Benjamin, Simone Weil y Hannah Arendt, en este artículo se analiza la reescritura que realizan Wislawa Szymborska, Sophia de Mello, Claribel Alegría, Margaret Atwood y María Zambrano de una serie de figuras míticas que sufrieron la violencia: la mujer de Lot, Eurídice, las criadas de Penélope y Antígona
