Abstract

A detailed analytical formulation is presented to study the impact of Cross-Phase Modulation (XPM) induced phase shift on the Bit Error Rate(BER) performance of Wavelenggth Division Multiplexing(WDM) transmission system with Intensity Modulation and Direct Detection(IM/DD).
