Heterogeneous catalytic homocoupling of terminal alkynes

Abstract

The homocoupling of terminal alkynes under heterogeneous catalysis is tackled in this perspective. The performance of different unsupported and supported catalysts, primarily based on palladium and copper, is analyzed from a critical point of view.
