After the substantial system of ethics of pre-modern society was destructed, the principle of ethics is reduced to the historical relativism or ethics of ego. So the move to the traditional value often happened and that infamous effect was well-known. The case of Choi, Myeong-Ik’s novels act the ethical experiment against the situation. In this ethical experiment, he staged the extreme situation and would discover the ethics of the Real.
