A comparative analysis of Twitter messages during the Spanish general election TV debates in 2015 and 2016

Abstract

<p>This article analyzes the activity of political parties on Twitter during the Spanish general election televised debates in 2015 and 2016. For this article it was used the content analysis of the messages transmitted on Twitter before, during and after the debate. The exploratory research allows us to confirm some trends pointed out in previous research and, above all, to highlight some of those that emerge especially in the second debate. At the same time, it allows us to know changes in the political strategic.</p
