El periodismo, atrapado en el tiempo digital

Abstract

La nueva era que nos ha tocado vivir abre una galaxia totalmente desconocida. Es un universo abierto y aparentemente infinito que atrapa al periodismo. Si con la llegada de la radio y la televisión se hablaba de la muerte de la prensa, la aparición de las nuevas tecnologías vinculadas a Internet y las redes sociales han alertado de la muerte del periodismo. Se hace necesario por tanto recapacitar y volver a los orígenes para encontrar el rumbo adecuado, y saber pilotar el barco en este nuevo océano, teniendo cuidado de no tropezar con los icebergs que van apareciendo. La clave está en regresar, con ayuda también de los nuevos medios, al periodismo que trata la información, y a los periodistas que analizan, valoran, seleccionan y sobre todo transmiten esa información de manera profesional. The new age that we have had to live opens a totally unknown galaxy. It is an opened and seemingly infinite universe that it catches to the journalism. If with the arrival of the radio and the television one was speaking about the death of the press, the appearance of the new technologies linked to Internet and the social networks have been alert of the death of the journalism. It becomes necessary therefore to reflect and to return to the origins to find the suitable course, and to be able to pilot the ship in this new ocean, having taken care of not stumbling over the icebergs that are appearing. The key is in returning, with it helps also with the new means, to the journalism that treats the information, and to the journalist who analyze, they value, select and especially they transmit this information of a professional way
