Generation of <i>Sox2-CreER</i> BAC transgenic mice.

Abstract

<p>(A) Illustration of the transgene construction. In the BAC clone RP23-2B8, the <i>Sox2</i> coding sequence was replaced by CreER™ sequence. The two black boxes represent the 5′UTR and 3″ UTR of the <i>Sox2</i> gene. H, HindIII; B, BglI. (B) Positive founder lines (No.20, 34, and 36) were identified by PCR and Southern blot. For PCR, Cre sequence was amplified. For Southern blot, genomic DNA was digested with HindIII and BglI and probed with a Cre sequence.</p
