This unit is designed to enable the candidate to use IT systems and applications effectively and responsibly to process a range of types of data. The candidate should develop a broad knowledge of the theoretical concepts, principles, boundaries and scope of Information Technology Applications. By the end of the unit the candidate should have learned how to use the basic features of at least two software applications packages and the complex features of one more package.
