Introduction to Moodle workshop

Abstract

A structured three hour workshop that gives staff an introduction to using the Moodle VLE (Virtual Learning Environment) in their learning and teaching. On completing this course, participants should: * be able to navigate the environment, find key features and access support. * have experienced using Moodle from a student's perspective. * have considered how they might use Moodle within their own context * have built a Moodle course based on their own requirements. * have begun to plan future development Designed to be delivered face-to-face in a computer room, the materials have been released as an OER that includes the workshop structure (learning plan), all asociated resources and a zipped backup of the Moodle course for import into your own installation of Moodle.
