Identifikasi Tingkat Pelayanan Pelabuhan Pontianak

Abstract

Ports are part of the transportation system for smooth flow of goods and passengers as well as having an important role for the efficiency of city life and the region. Pontianak city as a node set in West Kalimantan\u27s economy, because it is required to provide adequate infrastructure to support trading activities is one of the port infrastructure, but there are still problems at the port of Pontianak, such as the shallow grooves of shipping and supporting facilities are still lacking. This study aims to analyze the level of port services Pontianak. Analyzes were performed using several stages, namely identifying the roles and functions of the port of Pontianak with reference to ministerial decree 53 of 2002 on the order of harbor and measure the level of service (LOS) of the basic facilities at the port of Pontianak The analysis shows the level of service (LOS) from the facility was able to serve the flow of goods into the Port of Pontianak port but does not fully comply with the standards of what the government has directed in the regulations concerning the order of harbor
