Abstract

"In Britain," a legal scholar argues, "a battle over fairness regulation is looming in a media landscape defined by digitally converged media, consolidation of ownership and international broadcasting. At stake is not only a tradition of fairness bequeathed by the history of the British Broadcasting Corporation, but the very structure and rationales of British media regulations.
