This is the second volume in the series,the first of which was reviewed in thisJournal in February 1960 by this reviewer.The original volume was received withpraise and with anticipation of futurevolumes. The current volume has most assuredlylived up to expectations.While the cases in this volume dealwith public library situations involvinggoverning bodies, law librarians will findmuch that is applicable to their own circumstances.Personnel problems of hiringand firing as well as problems of book selectionand censorship which are some ofthe matters discussed in these cases arebasic to any type of library
