The Design of Tele-care Systems Using RFID Technology

[[abstract]]In recent years, the birthrate has been generally decreasing. By contrast, the population of aged people has been increasing. The care service of aged people becomes a trend. This research brings out the system platform of tele-care. The main aim is to provide clients a set of indoor and outdoor care service. In indoor environment, clients can use this system to measure their physical data. Also, you can use the inference and estimation of expert system to make sure client can understand their physical condition at the first time. When the measured data is unusual, the system will send out alarm signal to care-givers automatically. Therefore, care-givers can control the situation at once and give appropriate solvable method. Besides, clients can write their own data into the Tag and use to be a physical record. In outdoor environment, when clients have an accident, care-givers can use the system and the handy PDA to read the basic information and related case history immediately and provide suitable help. The research is through Visual Studio 2005 to open up tele-care system. Tele-care system which is implemented can let clients to measure their own heartbeat, Spo2, temperature, diastolic pressure and systolic pressure. Through the inference engine of this system, we can notice clients their own situation. Through these physical data, we can also infer whether clients are facing the threat of hypertension and obtain self-care. Furthermore, care-givers can use the PDA on their hand to check the basic information and historical physiology information and through what disease the historical physiology information inferred, it can let care-givers to control client's condition more easily.
