[[abstract]]The purepose of this study was to investiget the kimematic parameers of take-off phase and kinetic parameters of landing phase,and compaire with the relative literature. Try to provide appropriate model for long jumpers to improve the preformance of long jumpers. Five long jumpers who were the top eight in 2001 in Taiwan,served as subject for the study.A Kistler force platform(1200HZ) to collect the data of approaching and take off A standard t-test for paired comparison was used to test for differences between the best and the worse performance of each subject. The significant level was at 0.05. The results: 1. In Kinematics, the distance of jumping, the height of center of mass in the instance of take off, the angle of knee and ankle of the best performance group are more than the worse group. But vertical displacement of the center of mass from the approaching to take off is better in the worse performance group. 2. In Kinetic, the time of take off would influence the distance of jumping, it also mean that the less time of take off ,the best performance of jumping.
