[[abstract]]A Study for learners’ motivation and satisfaction degree of Taoyuan Community College Abstract The purposes of this study are：（1）to explore the learners’ motivation learning in Taoyuan Community College ,（2）to explore learners’ satisfaction degree in Taoyuan Community College,（3）to probe the variance of learning motivation among the learners,（4）to probe the variance of learning satisfaction degree among the learners,（5）to understand the relationship between learners’ motivation and satisfaction degree of Taoyuan Community College,（6）to explore if learners’ motivation has predictive efficacy to their satisfaction degree,（7）to make some concrete recommendations for related administrations in accordance with the results of this study. This study was proceeding through survey research study parallel. Two scales were used for data collection – “Questionnaire of learners’ motivation of Taoyuan Community College” and “Questionnaire of learners’ satisfaction degree of Taoyuan Community College”. The total 1,324 populations were entirely chosen from the learners of Taoyuan Community College, 938 parts were effective, and the percentage was 70.8%. The Cronbach’s coefficients of the scales were between .83 and .96. The analyzed tool was “SPSS 10.0 for Windows”. The conclusions of this study are as follows: 1. The learners of Taoyuan Community College perceived an upper level on “learning motivation”, and the average was 3.50. 2. The learners of Taoyuan Community College perceived an upper level on “learning satisfaction degree”, and the average was 4.04. 3. The learners of Taoyuan Community College have different perceptions of “learning motivation” in company with the different demographic variables. In terms of sex、age、educational background、profession、marriage、service years and majored amounts have significant differences in “learning motivation”. 4.The learners of Taoyuan community college have different perceptions of “learning satisfaction degree” in company of the different demographic variables. In terms of profession and majored amounts have significant difference in “learning satisfaction degree”. 5.There are positive and strongly significant correlations between learners’ motivation and their satisfaction degree. 6.Learners’ motivation has predictive efficacy for all the dimensions of learning satisfaction degree and the ranking. According to the conclusions of this research, some suggestions for educational administrations, teaching center and future studies were offered as follows: 1. The suggestions for educational administration:（1）To integrate the related resources, and lay emphasis on the relationship of communities.（2） To understand the learners’ unfavorable issues, and modify the measures. （3）To understand the learners’ objectives, and raise the their achievement. （4）To understand the different motivations, and modify the related class and policy.（ 5）To find the drop-out reasons of students, and improve the administrative methods accordingly. 2. The suggestions for teaching center:（1）To improve the administrative services continuously as well as to raise the learners’ satisfaction degree. （2）To choose multi-evaluation approaches to evaluate the learners’ achievement. （3）To shorten the distance between students & communities, and give feedback. 3. The suggestions for future studies :（1）In terms of demography, suggest to proceed the research and comparison by individual or regional community college for future studies.（ 2） It’s feasible to adopt the qualitative research methods.（3）As to the studying tools, suggest to develop more suitable ones.（4）To expand the width and substance in demographic variables.
