[[alternative]]Using CADD Software to Generate CNC Turning Programs

[[abstract]]  本研究主要探討如何使用電腦輔助設計繪圖(Computer Aided Design & Drawing;簡稱CADD)軟體發展出一套界面,將所輸入之車床工 件圖形,自動產生字語位址(Word address)NC碼,模擬車削路徑,用個 人電腦與CNC車床連線,使電腦輔助設計(Computer Aided Design;簡稱 CAD)延伸具有電腦輔助製造(Computer Aided Manufacturing ;簡稱 CAM)之功能。 研究的過程係採用當前廣為使用之AutoCAD for Windows R12 軟體做為工作平台,而程式之撰寫係採用AutoCAD所提供之 AutoLISP語言撰寫而成,並使用AutoCAD系統上之交談框控制語言( Dialog Control Language;簡稱DCL)做為使用者介面,使所發展之程式 更具有高度的親合性。 發展軟體並根據車削特性,設計四種工件輪廓 ,作為軟體試驗實體。經由刀具路徑動態模擬測試,及上機實際加工工件 ,來驗證本研究之實用性與正確性。 經驗證結果,效果良好,與目前 市面上現成CAD/CAM軟體所產生的NC程式,具有相同的效果。關鍵詞:CNC 車床、數值控制、CAD/CAM整合、產生刀具路徑、AutoCAD。 The main purpose of the study is to develop an interface using a Computer Aided Design & Drawing (CADD) software for transfering the lathe workpiece geometry into word address NC codes automatically. A personal computer is connected to a CNC lathe to archieve the integration of Computer Aided Design (CAD) and Computer Aided Manufacturing (CAM). In this study, AutoCAD for Windows R12 software is chosen as the working platform. The program developed in the research is written in AutoLISP language supported by AutoCAD. Dialog Control Language (DCL) provided by AutoCAD system is also used for designing the user's interface. Four workpieces are designed based on the characteristics of the lathe cutting. These workpieces formed as the software test module. NC lathe parts programs are generated automatically.The tool path stimulation and actual cutting on the NC machine are used to check the correctness of the research. The results of the test was promissing.
