[[abstract]]The main purpose of this study was to construct the web-assisted instructional model of LEGO Dacta. The model was combined with problem-based learning strategy. The original instructional method of LEGO Dacta was teacher-centered instruction. In the new model, learner plays as explorer. For fulfilling the study, we reviewed the related literatures first. Then, we constructed the web-assisted instructional model of LEGO Dacta. Finally, we developed the instructional activities and web site. The experimental results form 65 seventh graders showed that the proposed model improved the learning motivation and learning effect of LEGO Dacta
