Abstract
Bij patiënten met diabetes mellitus Type I is de 24-uurs groeihormoon (GH) secretie vaak verhoogd, zoals beschreven in het literatuuroverzicht (tot medio 1989) van dit proefschrift (1). Bij patiënten met een "slechte" metabole regulatie dalen de 24-uurs GH spiegels na een periode van striktere regulatie.
