Abstract

The report contains an analysis of”Fortress Europe’s” asylum regulating policy. The starting point of the report takes place in the preparation in a “frame of ideas”, by means of witch we wish to illuminate the causes of migration flows, and the motivation of EU to limit these flows. Within this frame of ideas it is been discussed how the conducted policy actually contributes to the avoidance of human rights that a refugee has according to the Geneva Convention. EU´s extraterritorialisation of asylum is seen, in the report, as a product of the increased transnationalistic development. This has resulted in EU moving there responsibilities on the political area of asylum out of there own borders
