The point of departure for this master project is teaching in the Multimedia Designer Program at the Ervervsakademiet in Odense. Graphic styles are taught here and we have identified a need for a digital screen based application that can supplement this teaching. As background for the product development we look at experience and emotional design. The theoretical approach works as a frame of understanding and source of inspiration in the production. The theories are put into perspective in relation to brain and intelligence science. As methodological tool we use the personas model, where we perform scenarios with four fictive role models that should create knowledge and creativity in the production process. The role models have in addition been tested in qualitative interviews with the teachers of the Multimedia Designer Program in Odense. The digital screen based application has been developed as a prototype and a test with five students from the Multimedia Designer Program has been performed. These tests have provided useful knowledge that confirms our assumption about the use of experience design and establishes a background for further development of the product
