Abstract

&lt;!-- @page { margin: 2cm } --&gt; &lt;p class="western" align="justify"&gt;Os experimentos foram realizado nas dependências do Laboratório de Fitopatologia da Universidade Federal de Goiás, no ano de 1997. Os fungos &lt;em&gt;Fusarium&lt;/em&gt; e &lt;em&gt;Pythium sp.&lt;/em&gt; foram cultivados em meio de cultura artificial contendo benomyl e PCNB nas concentrações de 10, 25, 50 e 100ppm. Os crescimentos radiais dos fungos demonstraram que o benomyl foi eficiente contra o &lt;em&gt;Fusarium&lt;/em&gt;, mas não surtiu efeito contra o &lt;em&gt;Pythium&lt;/em&gt;, fato este também observado em relação ao PCNB. Este produto, embora menos eficiente, reduziu em mais de 50% o crescimento radial de &lt;em&gt;Fusarium&lt;/em&gt;, obtendo uma redução progressiva com o aumento da concentração.&lt;/p&gt; &lt;p class="western" align="justify"&gt;PALAVRAS-CHAVE: &lt;em&gt;Fusarium&lt;/em&gt;; &lt;em&gt;Pythium&lt;/em&gt;; benomyl; quintozene.&lt;/p&gt;<br>&lt;!-- @page { margin: 2cm } --&gt; &lt;p class="western" align="justify"&gt;The experiments were carried out at Laboratory of Phytopathology of the Escola de Agronomia of the Universidade Federal de Goiás, in the year of 1997. The fungi &lt;em&gt;Fusarium&lt;/em&gt; moniliforme and &lt;em&gt;Pythium&lt;/em&gt; &lt;em&gt;sp.&lt;/em&gt; were treated in cultural medium with benomyl and PCNB in the concentrations of 10, 25, 50 e 100ppm. The radial growth of the fungi demonstrated that benomyl was efficient against &lt;em&gt;Fusarium&lt;/em&gt;, but not against &lt;em&gt;Pythium sp&lt;/em&gt;. The same was also observed with PCNB. Although less efficient than benomyl, this product reduced radial growth of &lt;em&gt;Fusarium&lt;/em&gt; in more than 50%. The increase of PCNB concentration reduced &lt;em&gt;Fusarium&lt;/em&gt; growth progressively.&lt;/p&gt; &lt;p class="western" align="justify"&gt;KEY-WORDS: &lt;em&gt;Fusarium&lt;/em&gt;; &lt;em&gt;Pythium&lt;/em&gt;; benomyl; PCNB.&lt;/p&gt
