Abstract

THE PURPOSE OF THE MEASUREMENT OF THE PENILE BLOOD PRESSURE IN PATIENTS WITH SEXUAL PROBLEMS IS TO FIND (IF THE CAUSE IS VASCULAR OR NON-VASCULAR) THE CAUSEOF SEXUAL IMPOTENCE AND THEREAFTER BY FURTHER INVESTIGATION TO FIND THE EXACTCAUSE. FOR THE MEASUREMENT OF THE PENILE BLOOD PRESSURE A 2.5 CM CLIFF IS PLACED AROUND THE BASE OF THE PENIS AND A PROBE OF AN ULTRASONIC MASHINE IS PLACED ON THE DORSAL PENILE ARTERY. THE CUFF IS CONNECTED WITH A MANOMETRE AND A PUMP.
