It focuses on the families of teachers, police officers, retail associates, office workers and others who struggle to find homes they can buy or rent in the communities they support. It pursues its mission at the local, state and national levels. Funding Provided by the Annie E. Casey Foundation The Annie E. Casey Foundation is a private charitable organization dedicated to helping build better futures for disadvantaged children in the United States. It was established in 1948 by Jim Casey, one of the founders of UPS, and his siblings, who named the Foundation in honor of their mother. The Foundation’s philosophy is that children do well when their families do well and that families do better when they live in supportive communities.
