Effects of Manganese and Mercury on Buckwheat

Abstract

The present investigation was carried out to observe the effect of Hg and Mn on the rate of respiration of common buckwheat. observation showed that higher concentrations of both metals decreased the rate of respiration. Ug proved toxic even at lower concentration while Mn at lower enhanced the rate of respiration in buckwheat
