The form of the data from this analysis is in the form of sentence excerpts in the novel Sesuk by Tere Liye which are related to moral values. The method used in this research is descriptive qualitative analysis. The approach taken in this analysis uses a moral approach. The results of the analysis are in the form of issues regarding human moral values ​​in the novel Sesuk by Tere Liye in the form of human relations with their God, human relations with themselves, human relations with other human being

Language and social strata are intertwined in the context of language learning. Then language and mind are two important and interrelated aspects of the human experience. Understanding the complex relationship between language and mind can help us understand the world around us. Therefore, this study aims to investigate how differences in social strata affect the use and understanding of Arabic in learning, as well as how the representation of Arabic in social strata is reflected in language learning. This type of research is qualitative research and the method used is library research by utilizing sources from books, journals, and scientific articles. Representasi Budaya dan Profil Pelajar Pancasila di Buku Pelajaran Bahasa Indonesia Kelas VII

This study aims to (1) describe the representation of culture in Indonesian textbooks grade VII, (2) describe the representation of Pancasila student profile in Indonesian textbooks grade VII. This research is a qualitative research and uses case study method with content analysis approach. The data source of this research is the seventh grade Indonesian textbook. The sampling technique was done by purposive sampling. Data collection was done by document analysis. The data validity test technique used was data source triangulation. The results of this study are, in the seventh grade Indonesian textbooks, cultural representations are found to be described through Koentjaraningrat's cultural elements in the form of language, technological systems, livelihood systems, social organization, knowledge systems, religious systems, and arts. Second, in the seventh grade Indonesian textbook, there is a representation of the Pancasila student profile which is divided into six dimensions, namely faith, fear of God Almighty; and noble character; global diversity; mutual cooperation; independent; critical reasoning; and creative. This research aims to explain and describe the elements of semiotic theory by C.S. Pierce (icon, index, and symbol) in the Television Broadcast Sekitaran Etam for the November 2022 Period on TVRI East Kalimantan. The Sekitaran Etam uses the Kutai language with the Tenggarong dialect. This broadcast discusses the culture and local wisdom of the people of East Kalimantan. The method used in this research is a qualitative research method. Language is the main communication tool to communicate with humans. Language acquisition is a process that occurs directly in children when they acquire language from their mother or first language, then children will get a second language through language learning. Children with special needs have language delays compared to normal children. This study aims to describe a language production, especially at the syntactic level for children with mild mental retardation. The source of the data from this study was from mild mentally retarded children at SLB Budi Asih Gombong. The data taken isn in the from of utterances that occur naturally from mild mentally retarded children. This qualitative descriptive research uses the method of gathering data of watching and fishing rods with basic tapping techniques. Then these utterances will be used for further research, to obtain language production skills specifically at the level of competence in form and function of syntax. Kajian Literatur Penggunaan Media Pembelajaran pada Mata Pelajaran Bahasa Indonesia Berbasis PBL

This article review aims to collect and review articles that discuss the use of learning media in Problem Based Learning (PBL) based Indonesian language subjects. The research method used is descriptive qualitative with a literature review approach to articles in the last 10 years and obtained 10 articles that meet the requirements. Data collection was done through a literature review of previous articles related to the research. The findings obtained in this study indicate that there are a number of learning media that can be used in Problem Based Learning (PBL) based Indonesian language subjects, namely serialized picture media, wordwall media, animated video media, booklet media, comic media, spinning wheel media, and audio visual media. The conclusion that can be drawn is that these learning media are feasible to use to convey learning materials easily in Problem Based Learning (PBL) based Indonesian language subjects

Kemampuan Menulis Karangan Eksposisi Menggunakan Media Gambar Fotografi Siswa Kelas X MIA 2 SMAN 3 Sungai Penuh

Writing skill is one of the critical linguistic aspects to be developed in language skills. One alternative to attract students' attention and motivation in the learning process is photographic image media. This research objective was to describe the writing skill of an expository essay using photographic image media in class X MIA 2 at SMAN 3 Sungai Penuh. The expository essay included structural aspects, content aspects, and linguistic aspects. The research design was quantitative research with a descriptive method. The research population consisted of 172 students of class X MIA at SMAN 3 Sungai Penuh, with a sample of 36 people. The research instruments were performance tests, observations, field notes, observation guidelines, and assessment sheets. The data collection technique in this research was giving an exposition essay writing test and documentation. The research indicated that the use of photographic image media could help students of class X MIA 2 at SMAN 3 Sungai Penuh in writing expository essays. It could be seen in the results of the exposition writing test of students who obtained a mean score of 81.25 with a percentage of 75% in the capable category

English Teacher Perception of Implementation Kurikulum Merdeka in English Teaching Learning Process

This research was aimed to determine English teachers’ perception of implementation Kurikulum Merdeka in English teaching learning process at SMP N 6 Semarang. This study was conducted by descriptive qualitative method. The data were collected by interview 3 English teachers at SMP N 6 Semarang who implementing Kurikulum Merdeka. The results showed that Kurikulum Merdeka has impact in English teaching learning process. The entire English teachers make Tujuan Pembelajaran based on Capaian Pembelajaran in Kurikulum Merdeka. The teachers have also implemented a learning cycle, differentiated learning, and conducted assessment based on Kurikulum Merdeka. Although all English teachers have different perception on some categories, but they said that Kurikulum Merdeka has impact in English teaching learning process especially in students learning outcome

Pengaruh Model Pembelajaran Problem Based Learning Berbantuan Media Strip Story terhadap Kemampuan Menulis Teks Biografi Siswa Kelas X SMA Negeri 8 Medan

Research objectives describe the effect of the problem based learning model assisted by strip story media on the X-grade students of SMA Negeri 8 Medan. Using an experimental method with a two-group post-test-only design The research instruments include biography text and language rules. Data collection techniques included observation, interviews, and tests. The data analysis technique uses the analysis requirement test, normality test, homogeneity test, and hypothesis test. The research results of the post-test class of the control class obtained an average score of 64.71, which is included in the good enough category. The experimental class post-test research results obtained an average value of 82.43, including the good category. The problem based learning learning model assisted by strip story media has a significant effect on the ability to write biography text in class X SMA Negeri 8 Medan, as evidenced by the results of the hypothesis test, which obtained tcount> ttable, namely 9.79 > 1.69, then H0 is rejected and Ha is accepted

Strategi Taboo for Taboo pada Penerjemahan Kata-Kata Tabu dalam Novel Where There’s Smoke

The purpose of this research is to analyze taboo for taboo strategy and factors that influence in translating taboo words in the novel Where There's Smoke into Indonesian. The data for this research are taboo words in the novel Where There's Smoke and its translation in Indonesian entitled Pencarian which uses the taboo for taboo strategy in its translation. The taboo for taboo strategy maintains taboo from the source language (SL) into the target language (TL). Data collection techniques are carried out by reading and taking notes. The data analysis in this research is based on Davoodi’s theory (2009). From the research results, it was found that the taboo for taboo strategy can translate taboo words at the same taboo level as SL and taboo for taboo strategy with a lower taboo level than SL. Factors that influence the taboo for taboo strategy are the use of the same function of taboo words between SL and TL, the message and meaning conveyed are the same, the difference language systems of SL and TL, the translator's understanding of the culture of SL, the readers of the target text, translator's sociolinguistic abilities, and editor’s role
