SOCIAL LOAFING: AN EXPLORATORY STUDY ON HIGH-SCHOOL STUDENTS
At school, students often get assignments in group form. However, in the process of working on group assignments, sometimes some students show less than optimal efforts due to the presence of other group friends. Social loafing is a tendency shown by individuals to show less than optimal effort when working in groups. This research aims to explore the background of the occurrence of social loafing in an academic context by focusing on high school (SMA) students. The exploratory study in this research used an open-ended questionnaire to collect data using analytical techniques in the form of content analysis with a mixed-method approach. INDONESIAN LANGUAGE LEARNING PROBLEMS IN THE CONTEXT OF THE INDEPENDENT CURRICULUM AT THE SENIOR HIGH SCHOOL LEVEL IN SOUTH SULAWESI
This research was conducted with the aim of 1)describing the problems of learning Indonesian in the context of the Merdeka curriculum at the SMA/MA level in South Sulawesi 2)describing the efforts made by teachers in overcoming the problems of learning Indonesian in the context of the Merdeka curriculum at the SMA/MA level in South Sulawesi. The type of research used is descriptive qualitative, with data collection techniques in the form of questionnaires via Google Forms. The results of this research show data that the problems of learning Indonesian in the context of the Merdeka curriculum at the SMA/MA level in South Sulawesi include: 1)teacher readiness; 2)the availability of inadequate facilities and infrastructure; 3) several teachers still do not master technology; 4)teacher creativity still needs to be improved; 5) lack of references related to training in making teaching materials; 6) misperceptions from students. Meanwhile, efforts made by teachers to overcome existing problems include: 1)attending independent curriculum seminars; 2) using an independent teaching platform; 3) joining a learning teacher community; 4) Empowering subject teacher deliberation (MGMP); 5) taking part in independent curriculum training; 6) provide students with an understanding of the concept of an independent curriculum
STUDENT ENGAGEMENT AND ADOLESCENT MISBEHAVIOR: A CORRELATIONAL STUDY ON HIGH SCHOOL STUDENTS IN LUWU TIMUR
This research aims to determine the relationship between student engagement and juvenile delinquency among SMA X students in East Luwu. The research sample consisted of 262 students aged 15-19 years. Data collection used the student engagement scale and juvenile delinquency scale. Pearson Product Moment was used for data analysis in this research with the help of the JASP 0.18.3 application. The research analysis results show a relationship between student engagement and juvenile delinquency at SMA X East Luwu with a correlation (r) -0.172 and p = 0.000, which means both variables have a relationship in a hostile and significant direction. This means that the higher student engagement, the lower juvenile delinquency. Conversely, the lower student engagement, the higher the rate of juvenile delinquency

THE ROLE OF PARENTS IN ENCOURAGING SELF-DIRECTED LEARNING IN PRESCHOOL CHILDREN (A COMPARATIVE STUDY BETWEEN TRADITIONAL FAMILIES AND MODERN FAMILIES)
This research explains the role of parents in implementing the concept of "Merdeka Belajar" for children who have not yet pursued education in Makassar City, focusing on comparing traditional families and modern families. This research analyzes how traditional and modern families support and facilitate preschool children to learn independently. The research method involved surveys, interviews and observations of families representing both groups. The results illustrate significant differences in the approaches and practices of parents from traditional families and modern families towards the concept of "Independent Learning." There is a difference in approach between traditional and modern families supporting independent learning for preschool-age children. Traditional families tend to use more conventional methods, such as reading stories, providing particular time for learning, and showing patience when children have not mastered the material. Meanwhile, modern families utilize more digital media in the learning process. However, traditional and modern families try to stimulate children's curiosity, show appreciation, and create an exciting learning environment. Both face challenges, such as easily bored children with difficulty concentrating. Another difference lies in integrating learning activities with daily activities, which traditional families tend to do, while modern families utilize technology more in the learning process. THE EFFECT OF SELF-EFFICACY, SELF-REGULATED LEARNING, AND STUDENT ENGAGEMENT ON CONCEPT MASTERY OF GRADE XI STUDENTS IN MATHEMATICS LESSONS
Improving the quality of education in Indonesia must be a top priority in building superior human resources. With superior resources, Indonesia can compete in the international world. For that, we need superior resources and mastery of modern technology. Schools and teachers must become Agents of Change to shape young people with professional competence. Therefore, learning in the classroom must be directed so that students can master the concepts of the provided material. In addition, teachers need to improve students' self-confidence and their ability to manage themselves so that students are always actively involved in learning. This study aims to determine how the concept mastery of class XI students at SMA XYZ Jakarta is influenced by self-efficacy, self-regulated learning, and student engagement. This study's respondents were 94 students of class XI SMA XYZ Jakarta. Data was collected using a Google form containing 26 statement items using a Likert Scale. The data were analyzed using SmartPLS 4.0 with an outer and inner model. The research hypothesis is enough to examine whether the path coefficient sign is by the hypothesis. The results of the study show that self-efficacy, self-regulated learning, and student engagement have a positive effect on concept mastery
CREATIVE THINKING ABILITY OF HIGH SCHOOL STUDENTS IN SOLVING PHYSICS QUESTIONS BASED ON LOCAL WISDOM
This quantitative descriptive study aims to describe high school students' creative thinking abilities in solving physics problems based on local wisdom. The data obtained in this research is quantitative and analyzed using descriptive statistics. The sample in this research consisted of 45 students. Based on the Gregory test, the validity value obtained is 1. Based on the Gregory test requirements, if V_c≥ 0.75 or ≥ 75%, it can be concluded that all items on creative thinking abilities are suitable for use. The reliability test obtained was 0.83 and was declared reliable. The instrument to collect data was an essay test consisting of 12 questions developed by indicators of creative thinking ability, including indicators of fluent thinking, flexible thinking, original thinking, and elaborative thinking. Based on research data, it was found that the ability to think creatively in solving physics problems based on local wisdom was in the low category. Based on the results of interviews show that 42% of students were unable to explain the relationship between physics concepts in the questions given. It can be concluded that the description of high school students' creative thinking abilities in solving physics problems based on local wisdom is in the low category
IMPLEMENTATION OF THE PROJECT TO STRENGTHEN THE PROFILE TF PANCASILA STUDENTS IN DRIVING SCHOOLS IN SAMARINDA CITY
The Project to Strengthen the Profile of Pancasila Students (P5) is an effort to translate the goals of national education into six dimensions, namely: 1) faith, devotion to God Almighty, and noble character, 2) independence, 3) cooperation, 4) global diversity, 5) critical thinking, and 6) creativity. This research aims to determine the implementation of P5 in Sekolah Penggerak Samarinda. Qualitative methods were used by conducting interviews with principals, teachers, and P5 project leaders in 5 Sekolah Penggerak. The research findings show that P5 has been implemented in Sekolah Penggerak with different themes and patterns. Common themes include local wisdom, entrepreneurship, and sustainable lifestyles. The implementation of P5 still does not follow the implementation stages according to the P5 guidelines and is implemented with different patterns integrated with and outside of learning. Evaluating continues to focus on assessing the final product rather than the working process
EXPLORATION OF THE INFLUENCE OF SOFT SKILLS ON CAREER EFFICACY OF SMK STUDENTS
This study aims to measure the influence of vocational students' soft skills on their career efficacy. This study uses a correlational quantitative method using mediation analysis on the JASP statistical application. The sample in this study consisted of 200 students using purposive sampling technique as many as 200 generation Z students who are vocational students were selected as respondents through several characteristics: 1) representing certain scientific fields / school majors; 2) the specified schools are spread throughout the South Sulawesi region; 3) the school is standardized on the Indonesian National Work Competency Standards. The data collection technique used a questionnaire adapted using Confirmatory Factor Analysis (CFA) test. The findings indicate that there is a significant influence between learners' soft skills on their career decisions. Learners who have or hone their soft skills will more easily direct themselves towards career decisions with confidence. Soft skills will also help vocational students to achieve more brilliantly in school to prepare for future careers. This study provides a conclusion that if the soft skills of vocational students are honed since the school period, it will affect career self-efficacy
STRENGTHENING CIVIC EDUCATION ON THE NATIONALISM ATTITUDE OF INDONESIAN MIGRANT WORKERS' CHILDREN IN SELANGOR MALAYSIA
The objective of this research is identify and understand the impact of strengthening civic education on the nationalism attitudes of children of Indonesian migrant workers in Selangor, Malaysia, and provide guidelines to strengthen their nationalism identity. This research is a descriptive study using qualitative methods and participatory and collaborative approaches. Data were collected through observation, interviews, data analysis and documentation of 4th, 5th and 6th grade students at Hulu Langat Guidance Center. The data analysis technique used is Qualitative data analysis technique including Data Reduction, Data Presentation and Conclusion Drawing or Verification. The results showed that the strengthening of comprehensive civic education had a significant effect on the knowledge and nationalism attitudes of children of migrant workers, including the Indonesian president, the basis of the state and the application of the Pancasila precepts in everyday life. So it is concluded that strengthening comprehensive civic education has a very important role in improving the nationalism attitudes of children of migrant worker
