APLIKASI PEMBELAJARAN KOOPERATIF DALAM KONSEP TRANSPORTASI PADA SISWA KELAS II SLTP NEGERI 1 SURUH KABUPATEN SEMARANG
The objectives of the research was to know the effect of cooperative teaching model to increase the comprehension of digestive concept toward the students in the second grade of SLTP N 1 Suruh Kabupaten Semarang. Descriptive qualitative approach was applied in the researeh with Colaborative Action Research. Questioner and documentary of daily notes and exercises collect the data. To keep the data valid, observations rechecking by other teacher, instructor or the consultant were carried out. Based on the research with was done, it can be conclude that the application of cooperative teaching model have positive effect to the comprehension of digest concept toward the students. PENGEMBANGAN STRATEGI PEMBELAJARAN BIOLOGI UNTUK MENINGKATKAN KEBERMAKNAAN KONSEP DITINJAU DARI KEMAMPUAN INGATAN DAN KETELITIAN KERJA
The aim of this research were to study the influence of using the scientific method on these following aspect: (l) The lmprovement of concept of 4thsemester’s subject of Biological Education, FKIP UNS, (2) Whether the memory capabilities can be used as a predtictor or not (3) The Carefulness can be used as a significant predictor and (4) contribution of each predictor on that improvement. Descriptive quantitative research methods with expofacto were used. t test and regression were used to analyse the data. Data are collected by test method and lt's collection with two design; comparative and corelative on 30 samples of the 4th semester's student. The result showed that the scientific method could raise the improvement of subject concept only slightly with no statistical differences. KEANEKARAGAMAN RIIODOPHYCEAE DI PANTAI SUNDAK SEBAGAI SUMBER BELAJAR BIOLOGI ALGAE
The objectives of this research were to invent the red-algae diversity, its distribution, and the contribution of physical environment to the algae it self and their habitat. Transect method was used with plot area of I X I m. Study area, 289 m in length, was divided into 3 station with 7 transects and 49 plots. Species diversity, abundance, physical and chemical environmental factors and the pattern of distribution were the focused on. The result showed that 7 species of red-algae were founded, consist of: Corallina sp, Gellidium sp, Laurentia sp, Gigartina sp, Eucheuma sp, Gracilaria sp, and Gymnogongrus sp. The frequency and coverage from the best to the least were as follows: Corallina sp 0,43% and 2,42%; Geilidium sp 0,83% and l9%, Laurentia sp 1% and 10,04%; Gigartina sp 0,83% and 11,8%; Eucheuma sp l% and 2,16%; Gracilaria sp l% and 9% and Gymnogongrus sp 0,28% and 0,95%. The distribution of each species of red algae was clumped. Physical and chemical environmental factor were driving the distribution of the red- algae. Thus, the habitat was determined on the rocky substrate with some growth orientation toward the sea. Key words: Rhodophyceae diversity, Alternative learning resource
VARIASI CANGKANG GASTROPODA EKOSISTEM MAI\GROVE CILACAP SEBAGAI ALTERNATIF SUMBER PEMBELAJARAN MOLUSKA; GASTROPODA
The aim of this research was to identify some characters of mangrove gastropod's shell, which varied among species and modified from its basic structure. Some characters are often lost or added make some difficulties for the student to identify the characters. Those characters are also confusing and lead to miss identification respectively. From that case, studying the vaiation of the shell characters among species and its modification from the original structure of gastropod's shell is needed. A model and description of the shell and its characters is useful guide for identification and also as an alternative teaching material for studying the gastropod. Mangrove gastropod's specimens from previous research (Karyanto et all, 2003) are the mateials studied on; represent the numerous variation and modification of gastropod's shell. The basic structures are identified according to Robert et al (1952), Pechenik (1991) and Beesley et al (1998). Variation and modification whether reduction or addition from its original were then mentioned and schemed. The shells of the 9 families of gastropod show some specific features, which respective to the shell structure of family, thus the identification to the family can be carried out by using the shell characters of family. Some characters that led to the genera and species are more various and sophisticate. Axial ridges, transversal ridges, eroded apex, elongated siphonal canal, spine, thickened aperture, The presence of the-apterture teeth, thickening operculwm witk calcareous material and coloration are some variant that obtained. Those characters reflect modification and play some important notes while studying the shell.Key words: Mangrove gastropods, shell variation, alternative learning resource
HUBUNGAN ANTARA KESADARAN PROFESI, VARIASI ASAL SEKOLAN DAN PERSEPSI TERHADAP PERKULIAJAN DENGAN PEROLEHAN HASIL BELAJAR PADA MAHASISWA PENYETARAAN S-1 PGSM JURUSAN P. MIPA
The objective of this research was to know the significant correlation between profession awareness, previous school belonging and perception toward teaching with acquisition of sudy yield on the student of gruduate-degree equalizing program of PGSM on the department of Mathematics and Natural Science Education. Descriptive analysis characterized by expost facto was used. Data was collected upon 40 student of PGSM. Anareg md Anatysis of Variant with dummy variables were used with the degree of significant if p>0.05. The result showed that thqe is a positive correlation, which is not significant between profession awareness, previous school belonging and the perception toward teaching with acquisition of study yield on the student (R=406; p=0,086, thus p>0,05). EFEKTIF'ITAS PENGAJARAN METODE EKSPERIMEN TAK TERINTEGRASI DIDAHULUI PEMBERIAN PETA KONSEP TERHADAP PRESTASI BELAJAR SISWA KELAS II SEMESTER III SMU BATIK 2 SURAKARTA
The purpose of this research is to compare the un-integrated experimental and lecture teaching methods. In the un-integrated experimental teaching method, the students are given a concept chart first. The subject matter of this research is the movement on plants. This research used experimental method with randomized control-group only design. The populations are the second grade students of SMU Batik 2 Surakarta, year 2002/2003. The sample is 86 students that taken using cluster random sampling technique. The first data are taken from the value of once grade students of a quarter monthly III. They are used to test the early ability of students. The second data are gotten from post test. Data are analyzed using t-test. The conclusion of this research is that the teaching using un-integrated experimental methods is more effective to increase the achievement of students than lecture method.
