    Pendampingan Tata Kelola dan Pertanggungjawaban Keuangan Unit Usaha Bumdes Pulotondo

    BUMDes Pulotondo is a strategic partner of the village government in promoting development and economic equality at the local level. As a village financial institution, BUMDes plays an important role in supporting the needs of micro enterprises in the village. However, the financial management of BUMDes Pulotondo is still conducted in a simple manner. Financial management is limited to basic cash recording, while financial reporting is still lacking in detail and does not meet adequate accountability principles. In addition, there is no separate financial accountability report for each business unit, which leads to low transparency and difficulties in evaluating the performance of each BUMDes Pulotondo business unit. This study aims to analyze the financial management of BUMDes Pulotondo and identify solutions to improve the effectiveness and transparency of its financial management. To address this issue, the PPM Accounting Team of Polinema provided direct assistance to the management of BUMDes Pulotondo in improving financial governance. The assistance was carried out through the delivery of materials using interactive presentations, along with practical exercises for preparing financial reports using templates in Excel customized to meet the needs of BUMDes. Direct practice involved providing case studies of real transactions relevant to the activities of BUMDes for practicing financial report preparation. During the practical sessions, the management of BUMDes Pulotondo was enthusiastic about trying to identify transactions of business units present in Pulotondo Village and posed questions that they still did not understand regarding accounting. The PPM Team also created a guidebook and educational videos as ongoing references for the management of BUMDes Pulotondo in preparing financial reports accurately and systematically.     The Teaching Factory Nursery at Politeknik Negeri Jember has palm oil plantation which is used for student practice. Oil palm plants have entered the TM (Producing Plant) phase, but the palm fruit produced has never been used. Palm fruit that is not harvested and is ripe, if it falls to the ground, will germinate and grow into a new plant, this will make handling more difficult because you have to uproot the plant to clean it. Another problem is that there are no tools that support the processing of palm fruit into Cruda Plam Oil (CPO). Seeing the huge potential of this palm fruit, the proposing team together with the management of the Teaching Factory Nursery agreed to take advantage of the opportunity through community service activities to produce CPO which will later become red palm oil ready for consumption using simple processing equipment. The service activity begins with a FGD to agree on product manufacture, location and equipment maintenance, as well as product marketing. The proposing team also provides assistance in product creation, storage, packaging, and product marketing for program sustainability.  The results of the activity show an increase in partners' knowledge and skills regarding post-harvest management of palm oil. The partners' enthusiasm in demonstrating the stages of processing palm oil into CPO is also able to solve problems and solutions and increase income from product sales

    Penyakit nfeksi menular seksual (PIMS) merupakan masalah kesehatan global yang terus meningkat, termasuk di Indonesia. Prevalensi PIMS tertinggi terjadi pada kelompok remaja dan dewasa muda akibat perilaku seksual berisiko. Perilaku seksual berisiko seperti berganti-ganti pasangan tanpa proteksi merupakan penyebab utama meningkatnya kasus PIMS di kalangan remaja dan dewasa muda di Indonesia. Upaya pencegahan dan pengendalian melalui peningkatan edukasi dan akses layanan kesehatan reproduksi penting untuk dilakukan guna memutus rantai penularan IMS di kalangan remaja. Metode kegiatan dilakukan dengan memberikan edukasi terkait PIMS dan memberikan pelatihan kepada siswa SMA 1 Muhammadiyah Palangkaraya untuk membuat promosi kesehatan terkait PIMS dengan memanfaatkan platform media social. Pada kegiatan ini juga dilakukan pengukuran tingkat pengetahuan siswa terhadap PIMS dengan melakukan evaluasi melalui pemberian pretest dan postest. Hasil menunjukkan bahwa terdapat peningkatan pengetahuan siswa tentang PIMS khususnya pada remaja setelah dilakukannya edukasi. Selain itu kegiatan ini menghasikan produk media sosial sebagai bentuk promosi kesehatan terkait PIMS yaitu platform media sosial TikTok dan Instagram.     Implementasi Pelatihan Petrologi Untuk Pengembangan Keterampilan Deskripsi Batuan Pada Siswa SMK Negeri 6 Kendari

    A rock description training has been conducted at SMK Negeri 6 Kendari to enhance fundamental petrology knowledge and descriptive skills among students in the Mining Geology program. This training involved 47 senior-level students and was implemented through several stages, including preparation, material presentation, rock description practicum, and outcome evaluation via written exam and analytical rubric assessment. The training comprised theoretical and practical sessions focused on the description of three rock groups (igneous, sedimentary, and metamorphic) using hand specimens and thin sections. The analysis demonstrates a significant enhancement in students' comprehension, as reflected in the increase in the average post-test score to 62.02, compared to the pre-test score of 45.74. An improvement in descriptive skills was also evident based on the evaluation rubric, with a greater number of students achieving the "Intermediate" proficiency level, characterized by scores exceeding 39, following the training. Statistical analysis using a paired t-test revealed a p-value <0.05, with the t-statistic substantially exceeding the critical threshold, affirming that the training had a significant impact on improving students’ knowledge and descriptive competencies in rock examination. It is recommended that future training programs focus on advanced modules, particularly those emphasizing rock interpretation, to further enhance students’ proficiency in rock description

    Blind people are one of the disabled groups who have limited vision, who require the help of other people or certain tools to carry out daily activities. So far, the blind has used canes to help them when walking, but the canes they usually use are not helpful enough. For this reason, it is necessary to implement an innovative smart cane with smartphone-based sensors for the blind. The implementation method was to carry out empowerment with a participatory approach, by implementing the smart cane innovation tool for the blind. The smart cane was equipped with sensors, light reflectors, GPS (Global Positioning System) navigation and an emergency button. The sensor functions to helps identify surrounding objects, making it easier for the blind to walk without worrying about tripping or being blocked by objects while walking. Light reflectors provide additional security by reflecting light when walking at night. The implementation of the smart cane was very helpful and made it easier for the blind to make their activities safer and more comfortable. Smart cane one of the innovative solutions that need to continue to be developed to help disabled groups, especially the blind, so that they have equal access to other people

    Karangpring Village is located in Sukorambi District, Jember Regency, which is an area producing and supplying rose bushes in Jember Regency. The Nawasena Women Farmers Group (KWT) is one of the KWTs located in Karangpring Village, Sukorambi, Jember. This KWT manages the processing of rose products produced by farmers in Karangpring Village. The problems in developing processed products in KWT Nawasena are the lack of diversity of products produced, the quality of the products produced is still less attractive, the scale of the products is small, the limitations of processing tools and the less than optimal promotion of products through social media. This community service activity is carried out to solve partner problems, namely the development of processed rose products that are more attractive and acceptable to the market. The method of implementing the activity is divided into several stages, namely the discussion and interview stage regarding partner problems, discussion and planning to resolve partner problems, implementation of counseling, and evaluation. Based on the initial discussion and interview activities, the main problem in developing processed rose products (especially rose tea) was that product processing was carried out manually due to limited processing tools. Based on these problems, counseling was carried out on drying rose petals and buds using simple equipment with low electrical power, so that it can be applied on a household scale. In the counseling activity, counseling was also carried out on good product packaging, as well as packaging with exclusive packaging as an additional selling value of the product. The results of the questionnaire showed that 100% of the material could be accepted and understood by the participants, 90% of participants benefited from the counseling activity, and the category of participant satisfaction with the counseling activity was very good

    Penerapan Kerangka Kerja DQ Framework untuk Meningkatkan Kompetensi Kewarganegaraan Digital

    Peningkatan penggunaan teknologi informasi dan komunikasi (TIK) dalam kehidupan sehari-hari membawa dampak signifikan terhadap masyarakat, terutama di kalangan generasi muda. Namun, tantangan terkait pemahaman dan penerapan kewarganegaraan digital semakin mendesak. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kompetensi kewarganegaraan digital peserta didik di Singkawang melalui penerapan Digital Intelligence (DQ) Framework. Metode yang digunakan adalah service learning, yang mengintegrasikan pembelajaran teori dengan aplikasi praktis. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan peningkatan signifikan dalam pemahaman peserta didik mengenai etika digital, keamanan informasi, dan literasi media. Skor rata-rata pre-test peserta didik adalah 77,85% (kategori cukup), sedangkan post-test meningkat menjadi 90,97% (kategori sangat baik). Temuan ini mengonfirmasi bahwa penerapan DQ Framework efektif dalam membentuk kewarganegaraan digital yang bertanggung jawab. Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini menekankan pentingnya integrasi literasi digital dalam kurikulum pendidikan untuk mempersiapkan peserta didik menghadapi tantangan di dunia digital yang semakin komplek

    Small micro and enterprises (SMEs) are an important part of improving the people's economy, one of the SMEs that produces various types of cakes or snacks including sweet bread, banana bread and cakes is SME SMISH Sempolan Village, Silo District, Jember Regency. In the production process, SMISH SME had problems regarding the production capacity and quality of sweet bread and banana bread products which are still low, and they do not yet have P-IRT. Based on this, community empowerment service (PPM) was carried out with the following objectives: (1).  Improving process technology to increase production capacity and bread quality. (2) improve production management. The method of community service activities includes the stages of observation, coordination, counseling on improving processing technology; improving production management with counseling and training on GMP and SSOP in implementation during production. After carrying out the dedication process, it can be shown that SME SMISH CAKE has made improvements in the quality of sweet bread and banana bread to be better, production capacity has increased by around 30-35%, increased knowledge of GMP, SSOP and production management, increased marketing reach and can sell online and get P-IRT production permit

    Pengaruh Puding Labu Kuning Dengan Terapi Meditasi Untuk Menurunkan Tekanan Darah Tinggi Pada Penderita Hipertensi

    Hipertensi terjadi ketika tekanan sistolik mencapai lebih dari 140 mmHg dan tekanan diastolik melampaui ambang 90 mmHg, mengakibatkan tekanan darah yang tinggi secara berkelanjutan dalam pembuluh darah. Di wilayah Provinsi Sumatera Selatan, jumlah lansia yang teridentifikasi menderita hipertensi pada tahun 2022 tercatat sebanyak 217.052 jiwa, menjadikannya sebagai salah satu provinsi dengan prevalensi hipertensi tertinggi di Indonesia. Penelitian ini mengungkap bahwa terdapat penurunan tekanan darah yang signifikan setelah intervensi yang memadukan konsumsi puding berbahan dasar labu kuning dengan praktik meditasi. Pada kelompok perlakuan, rerata tekanan sistolik menurun dari 169,80 mmHg menjadi 156,10 mmHg, sedangkan tekanan diastolik turun dari 96,90 mmHg menjadi 87,80 mmHg (p = 0,000). Di sisi lain, kelompok kontrol juga menunjukkan penurunan, yakni dari 166,40 mmHg menjadi 153,10 mmHg untuk tekanan sistolik dan dari 97,60 mmHg menjadi 87,20 mmHg untuk tekanan diastolik (p = 0,000). Temuan ini memberikan bukti bahwa kombinasi antara konsumsi puding labu dan meditasi berkontribusi secara efektif dalam menurunkan tekanan darah, sehingga dapat dipertimbangkan sebagai strategi nonfarmakologis yang sederhana dan aplikatif dalam upaya pengendalian hipertensi di masyarakat

    This community service activity aims to provide knowledge to SMA 12 Surabaya students about carrying out financial transactions on social media wisely and safely. According to Paais and Apituley (2023) the success of an individual is not only determined by his academic abilities (hard skills), but is also determined by soft skills, a skill needed so that an individual is able to manage his own emotions (intrapersonal skills) and is able to manage emotions when building relationships with others (interpersonal skills). The key to the formation of hard skills and soft skills is resources that are able and willing to change to become better. Student resources play an important role in financial transactions on social media. Some of the problems that exist include students' lack of knowledge about the dangers of making online transactions, and no knowledge about safe online transactions due to lack of information. Therefore, this activity aims to provide additional knowledge and insight about all buying and selling activities via social media, why transactions are made online, payment methods that can be used, and risks that can arise due to online transactions so that students can maximize their soft skills and hard skills. to maintain safe online transactions. Based on the results of the pre-test and post-test, there were 9 students in the "Poor" understanding category and only 1 student after that, in the "Enough" category before that there were 22 students and after that there were 6 students, in the "Good" category before that there were 8 students and after that showed an increase of 32 students. Thus, further community activities are needed regarding wider use of social media so that students can further develop their soft skills and hard skills
