Component-based Haptic Authoring Tool for Haptic Navigation
Nowadays, providing a uniform development environment for haptic applications is considered as one of the critical issues in haptic technologies. Thus, to date, we have developed a component-based haptic authoring framework using a component capability extension mechanisms supported by Unity3D. Our aim is to develop a newly revised haptic component to extend our previous framework. The proposed component enables a user to design haptic interface such as haptic navigation, as well as to help simulate/investigate the effect of the haptic interaction. Semigroups associated to generalized polynomials and some classical formulas
We study operator semigroups associated with a family of generalized orthogonal polynomials with Hermitian matrix entries. For this we consider a Markov generator sequence, and therefore a Markov semigroup, for the family of orthogonal polynomials on R related to the generalized polynomials. We give an expression of the infinitesimal generator of this semigroup and under the hypothesis of diffusion we prove that this semigroup is also Markov. We also give expressions for the kernel of this semigroup in terms of the one-dimensional kernels and obtain some classical formulas for the generalized orthogonal polynomials from the correspondent formulas for orthogonal polynomials on R

En effet, la nouvelle périodisation proposée comporte d’incontestables mérites heuristiques et incite à poursuivre le débat scientifique en la matière. Surtout, elle convie à ne pas considérer le premier islam et les réalisations culturelles qui caractérisent l’espace dans lequel il s’est affirmé, comme un objet étranger à la réflexion du tardo-antiquiste mais bien comme un domaine de réception et de réélaboration décisif de traditions susceptibles d’enrichir notre compréhension d’une époque décidément particulière
The electric vehicle routing problem with nonlinear charging function
Electric vehicle routing problems (E-VRPs) extend classical routing problems to consider the limited driving range of electric vehicles. In general, this limitation is overcome by introducing planned detours to battery charging stations. Most existing E-VRP models assume that the battery-charge level is a linear function of the charging time, but in reality the function is nonlinear. In this paper we extend current E-VRP models to consider nonlinear charging functions. We propose a hybrid metaheuristic that combines simple components from the literature and components specifically designed for this problem. To assess the importance of nonlinear charging functions, we present a computational study comparing our assumptions with those commonly made in the literature. Our results suggest that neglecting nonlinear charging may lead to infeasible or overly expensive solutions. Furthermore, to test our hybrid metaheuristic we propose a new 120-instance testbed. The results show that our method performs well on these instances
