    No full text
Adiwiyata is an award program given by the government to create a culture of love for the environment in schools so that students have creative power in their participation in preserving the environment. The Adiwiyata program offers several benefits that can be reaped by schools, students, and the local community. However, the implementation of environmental education (PLH) in primary and secondary education institutions through local content has not had a significant effect on changing the environmental awareness and behavior. Therefore, the acceleration of Adiwiyata program at Madrasah Aliyah Negeri (MAN) needs to be implemented immediately. The qualitative study data at MAN Salatiga was collected through observation, interviews, and documentation. Data analysis techniques were using data reduction, presentation, and verification. Checking the validity of the data used is based on four criteria, namely the degree of trust (credibility), transferability, dependability, and certainty (confirmability). The portrait that appears in the results of the study shows that the policy of developing a school that cares and environmentally cultured is only in normative studies so that the development of a curriculum that includes a love of the environment is still integrated in subjects (not monolithic); the development of community-based environmental activities is less integrated; development of supporting facilities and infrastructure is less applicable-integrative. Ideally, these components can be prepared and implemented by stakeholders in a synergistic manner considering the benefits that can be reaped from their participation in the Adiwiyata program are quite real

Education in Minangkabau is fundamental in relation to women and their role in all aspects of life, especially because the Minangkabau people, the largest ethnic group in West Sumatra, adhere to a material-lineal kinship system. This article aims to describe education and women represented by local media in West Sumatra. Data was collected using documentation techniques, interviews and Focus Group Discussions (FGDs). Documentation techniques are used to obtain lingual data, while interview and FGD techniques are used to collect data related to the information on the news production process. Data were analyzed by using the Sara Mills framework. The results of the research show that forms of representation of women in mass media can be classified into 13 thematic clusters based on specifications of the substance of the news and the point of view of the writing. The West Sumatra’s mass media represents women more as subjects than as objects. In various forms of reporting, women are represented as independent, warriors and achievers in the field of education. This finding refutes the claim that women are the second class and indicates that West Sumatra media reporting is classified as a gender responsive reporting

The PBL model has relevance and potential in developing 21st-century skills. This study uses the Systematic Literature Review method to identify PBL research trends in science courses at universities. A literature search using the app Publish or Perish with the Scopus database and data from journals indexed by SINTA (Science and Technology Index) in the last 10 years, from 2012 to 2021. In this study, there are 32 articles about PBL research in science lectures, including physics, chemistry, biology, and natural science.  The trend seen is a rise in publications addressing various facets of critical thinking abilities. Among research publications, quantitative research is the most common type. Quasi-Experimental designs are most often chosen by researchers, while RD designs are still little used. Chemistry is a subject that is most often chosen as a research subject. Meanwhile, the test is the most commonly used instrument for collecting data on 21st-century student skill
