Community service activities at SMK PAB 8 Sampali, Percut Seituan District, district. Deli Serdang North Sumatra aims to increase the understanding of financial literacy in students of SMK PAB 8 Sampali. This is done because financial literacy is very high important to understand and apply in life, be one of the six basic literacy. The goal is that every student of SMK PAB 8 Sampali, Percut Seituan District, Kab. Deli Serdang North Sumatra has an understanding of financial literacy that can be used not only now, but even after they work in the household. The method used is socialization by providing motivation with lectures and discussions in the form of question and answer sessions. The results revealed that financial literacy is still a new knowledge for some students. Even though financial literacy is very influential positive financial behavior and financial management itself. By following This activity, they hope will be able to increase financial literacy, and impact on good financial management and avoid various crimes finance. In this case conducting presentations with various themes related to finance including (1). understanding of basic financial reporting concepts, (2) excellent service in the banking world, (3). saving in generation Z, (4). the importance of investing at a young age, (5). digital capital market financial investment, (6) investment (mutual funds). EMPIRICAL STUDY OF STUNTING PREVENTION PROGRAM IMPLEMENTATION IN SEI TAROLAT VILLAGE, BILAH HILIR SUB-DISTRICT, LABUHAN BATU DISTRICT: STUDI EMPIRIS PELAKSANAAN PROGRAM PENCEGAHAN STUNTING DI DESA SEI TAROLAT KECAMATAN BILAH HILIR KABUPATEN LABUHAN BATU

This study aims to empirically analyze the stunting prevention and control program in the Sei Tarolat village of Bilah HIlir District, Labuhan Batu Regency. The author in this study used a type of qualitative research that uses a descriptive method. The research location was carried out in the Sei Tarolat village, Bilah HIlir District, Labuhan Batu Regency, at the health office, village office, and puskesmas. Data collection techniques are performed by interview methods and documentation studies. This study found a stunting prevention program not yet done as it should. This is distinguished because of several factors namely limited findings, lack of supervision of the program and inadequate facilities. A STUDY ON ILLOCUTIONARY ACTS USED BY THE MAIN CHARACTER OF SPIDER-MAN : FAR FROM HOME MOVIE

This research is a descriptive qualitative which analyze the illocutionary act in the main character in Spider-Man: Far From Home Movie. This research aimed to identify the types and functions of illocutionary act  in the main character in Spider-Man: Far From Home Movie. The researcher used Miles and Hubberman’s theory to analyze the data. It consists of data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing/verification. The research found that there are 4 types of illocutionary act that used by the main character in Spider-Man: Far From Home Movie based on Searle theory: those are representatives, expressives, directives, and commisives. Directive is the most illocutionary act used in this Movie. They appeared 36 times. It is followed by expressives which are uttered 31 times. Then, representatives are uttered 8 times and commisives are uttered 3 times. Therefore, There are 4 types of illocutionary function used in this movie based on Searle theory: competitive, convivial, collaborative, and conflictive. Competitive is the most illocutionary function used in this movie. They appeared  55 time. It is followed by convivial which are uttered 16 times. Then, collaborative uttered 4 times. The forth is conflictive that uttered one times

Fermentasi FERMENTASI PERIKANAN TRADISIONAL TERASI REBON (Acetes sp.) PADA UMKM FAMILI DAN POKLAHSAR CAHAYA JAYA KECAMATAN MUNCAR, BANYUWANGI

Terasi is a form of processed rebon shrimp which is widely circulating in Indonesia. Terasi is one of product diversifications resulting from fermentation based on trash fish and rebon shrimp with the addition of salt or other additives in the shape of paste or powder with a distinctive terasi flavor. The purpose of salt addition is to obtain certain condition allow halotolerant microorganisms to react to produce certain food products with unique characteristics such as terasi products. This research used a descriptive method with data collection techniques through primary and secondary data. Data collection was carried out by observation, interviews, active participation, and literature study. The research results at MSME Family and MSME Poklahsar Cahaya Jaya, Muncar District, Banyuwangi Regency among others the raw material used in product processing is rebon shrimp (Acetes sp.) obtained from Banyuwangi Muncar coastal waters. Rebon shrimp mixed with 20-25% salt of the total fish weight. Furthermore, the fermentation process was carried out for some time and dried in the sun and the final product will be packaged with PE plastic for the UMKM Famili and plastic jar packaging for the UMKM Poklahsar Cahaya Jaya, Muncar District. Resulted terasi has a distinctive flavor of terasi, dry characteristics with the shape of solids in the MSME Famili and has dry characteristics in the form of powder and granules in the MSME Poklahsar Cahaya Jaya, has a moisture content below 45%, and a salt content of 15-20%

SINTESIS GELATIN DARI LIMBAH TULANG IKAN KOTA KUPANG MELALUI HIDROLISA DALAM JENIS ASAM YANG BERBEDA

Larutan asam diketahui mampu merubah tulang ikan menjadi produk yang memiliki nilai tambah berupa gelatin. Penelitian ini, bertujuan untuk mengetahui proses pembuatan gelatin tulang ikan melalui perendaman dengan perbedaan kategori larutan asam 4% dan waktu ekstraksi yang sama. Prosedur kerja dalam penelitian yaitu tulang ikan direndam kedalam 3 (tiga) perlakuan : HCl 4%, CH3COOH 4%, dan H2SO44%, hasil ekstraksi lalu di oven sampai kering lalu digerus menjadi gelatin. Metode penelitian adalah metode eksperimen sedangkan analisis data menggunakan metode deskriptif kualitatif dan kuantitatif. Hasil penelitian ditemukan bahwa larutan asam sulfat dengan waktu ekstrasi selama 7 jam memiliki hasil terbaik dengan kandungan air 9,84%, kandungan abu 0,05%, pH 5,3, viskositas 10,8, dan kekuatan gel 283,44%, waktu ekstrasi asam klorida nilai terendah 5,2 dan asam cuka dengan nilai 5,1

Implementation of Greenhouse Technology to Support Bamboo Forest Conservation in Batara Village, Papring

Kampoeng Batara, Papring is a community of forest-side residents who use bamboo as their main economic source of life. Greenhouse technology is expected to help the community in efforts to conserve bamboo forests that have been damaged by natural and human factors. This community service activity is carried out by implementing an automatic control system for the greenhouse watering irrigation system in overcoming environmental climate change. The types of seeds tested were pring pethung, watu, yellow, and pring-ori seeds. The greenhouse design in the form of a dome measuring 4x7 meters is used as a storage room for seeds, several sensors are connected to the acquisition and control system using Arduino-Uno. This system is designed to be able to help residents without a technical background where they can command complete control through temperature and humidity control of greenhouse spaces. The system test results show that the temperature and humidity of the room can be maintained at optimal conditions. The program output has shown the speed of root growth of seedlings within 3 weeks, suppressing stress that risks the death of seedlings. Conservation efforts through greenhouse technology with automatic sprinklers have an impact on supporting bamboo forest conservation efforts for the future of the Kampoeng Batara community

Storytelling Workshops Based on Babad Banyumas Stories for Local Tourism Community to Support Storynomics Tourism Development in Banyumas Regency

Storytelling-based tourism or Storynomics tourism is being promoted by the government as a quick win strategy for economic recovery. Banyumas has a valuable historical heritage that is Babad Banyumas. These manuscripts are sources for interesting stories that add the attractiveness of tourist destinations. Unfortunately, the ability of local tour guides in storytelling are still low. Therefore, this training is intended to develop their skills in oral and digital storytelling of Babad Banyumas. The method is active learning that combines lectures, discussions, group assigment and presentation. Storybook and puppet form of figures in Babad Banyumas are provided as instruments for oral storytelling, and cameras and supporting devices for digital storytelling. Based on observation, mostly the participants were able to perform well in oral storytelling. Observation of photos and videos story of participants also showed encouraging result. The results of pre and post tests analysis show that both trainings have had a significant impact on increasing the knowledge and skills of participants. This findings support the idea of functioning community development and tourism strategy as global perfect merge for social economic development

A DESCRIPTIVE STUDY ON SUBTITLING STRATEGIES OF CULTURE-SPECIFIC ITEMS (CSIS) IN THE DOCUMENTARY FILM ENTITLED “THE MARK OF EMPIRE MAJAPAHIT

Subtitling is written translations from the source language to the target language, which are positioned at the bottom of the screen that appear and disappear along with the dialogue in the film. Translators often find difficulties in translating subtitles contains many cultural terms (culture-specific items/CSIs). CSIs are culturally specific concepts that do not exist in other cultures. Therefore, the researcher chose to analyze CSI by taking object from Peter Lee's documentary film entitled “The Mark Of Empire Majapahit”. The research method used is descriptive qualitative. The purpose of this study was to find out the strategy of CSI and subtitling strategies of CSIs in the documentary film of  “The Mark of Empire Majahpahit". In this study, the researcher focused on looking for CSIs in the form of words and phrases in the film. After that, the researcher categorizes the types of CSIs using the Newmark model. Then, the researcher analyzed the subtitling strategy of CSIs words proposed by Pederson. The results of the study found 45 words and 73 phrases of CSIs. The translation strategies of CSIs were retention (53 ), followed by calque (28),  shift (8), specification (1), generalization (1), omission (0), and substitution ( 0)
