application/pdf初期中世アイルランドの修道院はcivitas とされた。修道院すなわちcivitas は様々な罪を犯した者をそのコントロール下に置いた聖域を含む周縁地に保護した。聖域は3つに分かれ，俗人が立ち入れる区域は限定的であり，またその周りに周縁地が広がり，そこでは農業的活動が行われた。さらに修道院の周辺には寄進を行う俗人や施しを得る貧者が集まった。修道院は社会的核となり農村地域の中心地となった。また聖人の祝日を祝う集会が行われ多くの人が集まった。そこでは，交換取引を手工業者と農業従事者が行い，契約の締結なども行われた。この時代のアイルランドの修道院は社会的中心となる空間を提供し，犯罪者や貧者を含む様々な階層の俗人が集まる場であった。departmental bulletin pape

Radiocarbon Dating on the Late Jomon Pottery of NISHIDA-SITE in KAMIGORI TOWN

application/pdf兵庫県上郡町西田遺跡から出土した縄紋時代の試料について，AMS炭素14年代測定およびIRMS 安定同位体比測定をおこなった。　 　その結果，縄紋中期末葉～後期初頭の年代値を得ることができ，これまでに測定してきた関東地方の縄紋中期～後期と西日本近畿地方との年代対比の基準試料を得ることができた。また，同位体分析によって，海産物の利用の可能性に関する材料を得ることができた。同位体分析によって海産物の調理の可能性がある付着物と，C4植物の利用の痕跡である可能性のある付着物とが見いだされたことは，土器の利用に関する検討材料となろう。departmental bulletin pape

A Study on Applicability of Flood Forecasting Method Based on Time Series Analysis Using Observed Water Level

application/pdfForecast information of water level is important information that encourages residents to evacuate. Generally, flood forecasting is conducted by using runoff analysis. However, in developing countries, there are not enough rainfall observation stations in a basin. Therefore, this study assumes where poor hydrologic data basin and evaluates it through reproducibility and prediction by using time series analysis which statistical model with the only water level data. This method is possible to reproduce hydrograph, if the observation stations exist several points in the basin. “We’re not the Ladies”:The Question of Lady in 21st Century Feminist Parlay

application/pdfIn this article, I investigate a recently resurfaced use of lady in feminist language. I explore what this reappearance of lady might tell us about what Angela McRobbie calls feminism’s comeback in the Anglophone West and whether it is problematically intertwined with feminism. I focus on the contemporary use of the term lady, which after a period of being deemed an out of date, patronising exceptionalism, is back in use in everyday language and on social media. I ask whether the term lady has become diluted, rather than flattened, of its sexist connotations, and whether this new use of lady among feminists is an attempt to amend feminism by locating an element of femininity. I also explore what might be other positive uses of lady, for example, in relation to trans and non-binary people, to see whether, despite its problematic associations, it might be worth hanging onto after all.departmental bulletin pape

application/pdf本稿は，セツルメント運動の活動家の一人であり，のちに女性達による国際的な平和運動の中心人物となったエミリー・グリーン・ボルチに焦点をあて，米国の女子大学で教育を受けた第一世代の女性が，どのように当時高まっていた社会改革運動を体験し，高等教育と社会福祉事業を結び付けていったのかを分析したものである。本稿は，まず，家庭や社会を道徳的に教化するというジェンダー役割を反映する形で，経済学や社会学の分野でも女性の高等教育機会が高まったことを明らかにした。ボルチも，ローカルな場で展開するフィールドワークや社会改革運動を重視し，貧困や移民を題材に経済学，社会学研究を展開した。次に，ボルチが職業機会を得たネットワークは，教育歴，階級，人種などの枠組みが構築されていく場であった。このネットワークには，多くの白人中産階級の女性達が参入したが，ボルチ自身も，その中で社会活動や研究教育活動を行った。最後に，ボルチは，研究・活動対象である労働者や移民に対し，教化する者，観察者の立場にあったが，実際の活動やフィールドワークを通じ，様々な背景の女性達との関係性を変容させていく可能性を示していた。departmental bulletin pape
