Association of Vitamin D Intake in Pregnant Women and Birth Weight

Background: Insufficient maternal consumption of vitamin D can have adverse effects on fetal development and increase the likelihood of low birth weight. This research aimed to establish the correlation between the quantity of vitamin D consumed by expectant mothers and the weight of newborns. Methods: This study utilized an analytical observational design with a cross-sectional approach, collecting data from August to November 2022. Information on Vitamin D intake and birthweight was obtained via questionnaire interviews with 96 pregnant women delivering at the University of North Sumatera Hospital or Maharani Women’s and Children Hospital. Semi-Food Frequency Questionnaires (FFQs) served as the data collection instrument. Non-probability consecutive sampling was employed. Statistical techniques, including Chi-square and Fisher's Exact test, were used for data analysis. Findings indicated a prevalence of inadequate vitamin D intake among mothers (3.125%). The mean daily consumption of vitamin D among expectant women was 19.99 μg/day. Mother's education level did not significantly influence the outcome (p=0.589). Results: The results of this study suggest that there was no significant association between maternal age at pregnancy (p=0. 135), gestational age (p=0. 771), parity (p=0958), and baby's sex (p=0. 448) with birth weight. Conclusion: An observed association existed between the prenatal intake of vitamin D and neonatal birth weight in expectant mothers

Church and State in Conflict Over The Establishment Protestant Church

A series of incidents involving places of worship are still widespread in Indonesia. In recent years, the construction of places of worship has become an interesting problem not only in the social context of interaction between religious communities but also conflict resolution in Indonesia. Minority religious groups tend to have difficulty establishing or renovating their places of worship because they receive pressure and intervention from the majority group. This research explores the issue of residents' rejection and closing and stopping the process of building a house of worship for the HKBP Efrata Church in Gresik Regency, East Java. The aim of this research is to describe the things that trigger conflict and analyze the conflict resolution mechanism of the HKBP Efrata Driyorejo Gresik church. This research uses a qualitative-descriptive method, namely a research effort based on methodology in studying the phenomenon of conflict over places of worship at the HKBP Efrata Driyorejo Gresik Church. It is known that the church was prohibited from carrying out worship activities by local residents for approximately 6 (six) years due to problems with permits to carry out worship in the area. ABSTRAK: Jalan Raya Kediri Nganjuk merupakan jalan yang menghubungkan antara kabupaten Kediri dan Nganjuk. Ruas jalan raya tersebut digunakan untuk akses layanan transpotasi baik kendaraan ringan maupun kendaraan berat yang melintasi jalan tersebut. Sehingga diperlukan adanya perencanaan ulang jalan untuk meningkatkan kualitas jalan raya Kediri – Nganjuk agar tidak terjadinya kerusakan yang signifikan. Tujuan perencanaan ini untuk mengetahui tebal lapisan permukaan dan anggaran biaya yang dikeluarkan saat proses pekerjaan. Perencanaan ini diharapkan agar bisa meningkatkan aksesibilitas masyarakat, sehingga perlu adanya metode pelaksanaan yang tepat agar dapat tercapainya target mutu, biaya, dan waktu. ABSTRACTCoffee is one of the plantation commodities that will have relatively high economic value among other plantation plants and play an important role as a source of foreign exchange for the country. Coffee not only plays an important role as a source of foreign exchange but also a source of income for no less than one and a half million coffee farmers in Indonesia. What coffee attributes have a relationship with consumers in Mbah Bedo warkop Analyze the effect of quality attributes on product preference on buyer decisions at Mbah Bedo warkop. The results of this study can provide an overview of the impact of product quality, service quality, and price on purchasing decisions at Mbah Bedo as a result can be used as an assessment on managing products, services, and prices for the better in the future. DAMPAK PERUBAHAN IKLIM TERHADAP SEKTOR PERTANIAN PADI

The phenomenon of greenhouse gases causes the impact of climate change which results in an increase in the earth's temperature. This research was conducted with the aim of knowing whether there are indications of climate change that is occurring, the amount of contribution of greenhouse gas emissions in the agricultural sector, the impact of climate change on the agricultural sector, to the efforts needed to deal with climate change in the agricultural sector using secondary data with qualitative research through literature review approach. The existence of indications of climate change is something that is common for farmers which is an obstacle in the agricultural sector. Climate change cannot be eliminated, but can be minimized by taking steps to anticipate and adapt to climate change. Most of the gas comes from microbial decomposition, burning of plant litter and soil organic matter. Climate change not only causes global warming and sea level rise, but also threatens food security because it can have a negative impact on the agricultural sector, especially crop loss. Incidence of Obesity in Diabetes Mellitus Rates, Profile of Teachers and Employees at SMA X Surabaya

Background: Reduced metabolic function can cause the human body to experience a lack of energy, resulting in the possibility of diseases including diabetes mellitus, hypertension, atherosclerosis, and even coronary heart disease. Objective: This study aims to analyze the incidence of obesity through Body Mass Index on the incidence of diabetes mellitus and Lipid Profile at SMA X Surabaya. Methods: The research design used was cross-sectional. Sampling was carried out using non-probability sampling with a random sampling technique. Data collection was carried out at SMA X Surabaya by 64 teachers and employees of SMA X Surabaya. Respondents were gathered to receive health education, then went through the registration stages, and vital signs, and then 5 mL of venous blood was taken to measure blood sugar levels and lipid profiles, namely total cholesterol and triglyceride levels. This research uses the Chi-Square test statistical test. Result: There is a significant relationship based on the chi square test between body mass index and cholesterol levels and triglyceride levels. because the p-value < 0.05 is 0.041 and 0.050 respectively, but there is no significant relationship between body mass index and glucose levels with a p-value of 0.181. Conclusion: There is a relationship between the incidence of obesity through Body Mass Index and the incidence of Lipid Profile but there is no relationship with the incidence of diabetes mellitus at SMA X Surabay

Women's Literacy in Using Digital Media Information

Purpose Research. Indonesian women have low digital literacy skills, and data from 2022 shows that only 34.7% have good literacy skills. 54.6% of Indonesian women receive hoax messages compared to men, while cyberbullying shows 39.2% occurs in women. This causes women to be less confident in accessing the internet. This research aims to analyze women's literacy levels in utilizing digital information media, identify the challenges they face, and explore the impact of cyberbullying on women to formulate strategies for increasing digital literacy that are safer and more inclusive. Research Method. The research combines qualitative and quantitative methods with data collection through in-depth interviews, online surveys, and social media content analysis. Data Analysis. The research sample consisted of women with various social, economic, and educational backgrounds who actively use social media. Results. The results of the study are expected to provide insight into the level of social media literacy among women, the challenges they face, and effective strategies to improve this literacy. In addition, this study also aims to identify the role of social media in strengthening or inhibiting women's empowerment in various sectors of life. Conclusions. TATA KELOLA PEMERINTAHAN INDONESIA

Undang-Undang Nomor 6 tahun 2014 tentang Desa memberikan tanggungjawab yang besar bagi pemerintah desa, namun pemberian tanggungjawab yang besar tersebut tidak dibarengi dengan penyiapan sumber daya manusia yang baik, sehingga tata kelola pemerintahan yang baik dilingkungan pemerintahan desa masih jauh dari harapan. Hal ini terlihat dari masih adanya aparat desa yang kurang disiplin dalam menjalankan tugas dan tanggungjawabnya dan di sisi lain, pemberian otonomi desa melahirkan praktik korupsi baru di tingkat desa. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa prinsip good governance telah diterapkan dalam penyelenggaraan pemerintahan desa, sedangkan faktor yang menghambat pelaksanaan good governance dalam penyelenggaraan pemerintahan desa adalah partisipasi masyarakat, sumber daya manusia, dan disiplin aparat desa.
