    Analisis Nilai Kerukunan dalam Tradisi Kupatan pada Masyarakat Islam di Pesisir Desa Sedayulawas, Lamongan

    The Kupatan tradition is one of the cultural heritages that has become an integral part of the life of the Islamic community in the coastal village of Sedayulawas Lamongan. This article aims to explore and analyze the values of harmony embedded in the Kupatan tradition and its impact on social unity and local community cohesion. The research method used is qualitative research with an ethnographic approach. Data were collected through participatory observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation studies. Data analysis was conducted using an inductive approach to identify the values of harmony that emerged in organizing Kupatan. The results show that the Kupatan tradition in Sedayulawas Village is a ritual event and an expression of the profound importance of unity in the local Islamic community. Values such as helping, respecting each other, solidarity, and brotherhood are evident in implementing Kupatan. This article has significant implications for cultural preservation and community development in the coastal areas of Sedayulawas Village and its surroundings. By understanding and appreciating the values of harmony in the Kupatan tradition, communities can strengthen their social relationships and promote peace and stability in their neighborhoods. In addition, this article also provides valuable insights into how local cultural values can be integrated into sustainable development at the local and national levels

    Religiosity and its Relationship with the Tolerance Attitudes of Higher Education Students

    This study aims to examine the relationship between religiosity and tolerance among university students. This research focuses on how university students’ level of religiosity relates to their attitudes towards differences in religion, culture, and views in the academic environment. The research method was a quantitative approach with a cross-sectional design. This study involved 160 students from various programs at several universities. Data were collected using a questionnaire consisting of a religiosity measurement scale and tolerance attitude measurement scale. The religiosity measurement scale includes the dimensions of belief, involvement in religious activities, and importance of religion in daily life. The tolerance attitude measurement scale assessed students' responses to statements describing openness, appreciation, and respect for differences. The results of the analysis show a positive correlation between the level of religiosity of university students and their tolerance attitudes. Students who showed higher levels of religiosity tended to have more tolerant attitudes. These findings suggest that religion can act as an important factor in shaping students' social attitudes in the academic environment. This study contributes to the understanding of the role of religion in shaping tolerant attitudes among university students. The implications of these findings can help in designing more inclusive education programs that emphasize openness to differences and respect for diversity. In addition, this study underscores the importance of opening dialogue and facilitating faith in higher education settings. Although the findings provide valuable insights, this study has limitations in terms of sample coverage and geographical area. Further research involving larger and more diverse samples from different countries or regions is expected to corroborate and expand the generalizability of these findings. Future research could also explore other factors that may influence the relationship between religiosity and tolerance among university students

    Character Strength and Happiness among Environmental and Educational Volunteers in a Collectivistic Culture

    Volunteers participate in charitable activities sincerely without any certain expectations. Concerning this volunteerism, this study aims to investigate the influence of character strength on happiness in environmental and educational volunteers. Employing Seligman's happiness scale as a measurement instrument (α = 0.615) and Peterson and Seligman's (α = 0. 976) Value in Action - Inventory of Strength (VIA-IS) as a measurement instrument to determine character strength, 99 volunteers working in environmental and educational fields of voluntary organizations were recruited. The inclusion criteria for recruiting these participants included male or female participants over 18 years old, active at the organizations for at least six months, unmarried, and living in Yogyakarta. All obtained data were analyzed by using a Spearman correlation analysis technique and a regression analysis technique. The results of this study showed that some of the most influential types of character strength on happiness were leadership (r = 0.354, p = 0.000), appreciation of beauty and excellence (r = 0.337, p = 0.001), gratitude (r = 0.311, p = 0.002), forgiveness (r = 0.305, p = 0.002), and open-mindedness (r = 0.301, p = 0.002). In addition, types of character strength significantly influencing happiness are closely related to collectivistic culture

    The purpose of this study is to describe the concept and implementation of an independent curriculum based on differentiated learning in Madrasah Ibtidaiyah in the development of the 21st century. The research method used is library research or literature study by reviewing various literature that is relevant to the research theme. The results showed that the purpose of the independent learning curriculum is so that teachers, students and parents can have a pleasant atmosphere. Then the characteristics of independent learning are: 1) . Project-based learning strengthens the profile of pancasila learners who have the aim of developing soft skills and character according to their talents. 2) Focus on essential materials, so that there is time for deep learning for basic competencies such as literacy and numeracy. 3) The flexibility of teachers to carry out differentiated learning based on the learning styles and abilities of the students. The essence of differentiated learning is to make students a learning center, develop the learning process according to the student's learning style and abilities, so that students can feel comfortable, safe and enjoyable following the entire learning process. Thus students can be more creative, innovative and develop according to their interests and talents. [Tujuan penelitian ini adalah mendeskripsikan konsep dan implementasi kurikulum mandiri berbasis pembelajaran berdiferensiasi di Madrasah Ibtidaiyah dalam perkembangan abad 21. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian kepustakaan atau studi pustaka dengan meninjau berbagai literatur yang relevan dengan tema penelitian. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa tujuan dari kurikulum belajar mandiri adalah agar guru, siswa dan orang tua dapat memiliki suasana yang menyenangkan. Maka ciri-ciri belajar mandiri adalah: 1) Pembelajaran berbasis proyek memperkuat profil peserta didik Pancasila yang memiliki tujuan untuk mengembangkan soft skill dan karakter sesuai dengan bakatnya. 2) Fokus pada materi esensial, sehingga ada waktu untuk pembelajaran mendalam untuk kompetensi dasar seperti literasi dan numerasi. 3) Keleluasaan guru untuk melaksanakan pembelajaran yang dibedakan berdasarkan gaya belajar dan kemampuan siswa. Inti dari pembelajaran berdiferensiasi adalah menjadikan siswa sebagai pusat pembelajaran, mengembangkan proses pembelajaran sesuai dengan gaya dan kemampuan belajar siswa, sehingga siswa dapat merasa nyaman, aman dan menyenangkan mengikuti keseluruhan proses pembelajaran. Dengan demikian siswa dapat lebih kreatif, inovatif dan berkembang sesuai dengan minat dan bakatnya

    This journal article aims to conduct a theoretical analysis of Geertz's article entitled "Javanese Kyai as Cultural Broker." Geertz's writing became one of the important contributions in anthropological studies on religion and culture in Indonesia. Geertz explains the role of the Javanese kyai as a cultural broker in Javanese society. The theoretical analysis in this article includes a study of the main concepts introduced by Geertz, such as kyai, culture, and cultural brokers. Through a theoretical approach, this article investigates these concepts with reference to anthropological theories and other relevant studies. The aim was to gain a deeper understanding of the role of Javanese kyai as cultural brokers in Javanese society. The study found that Kyai as a cultural broker acts as a mediator between different cultural groups, facilitating understanding, dialogue, and exchange between Javanese community groups and foreigners, such as the Japanese and Western cultures brought by modernists and the Dutch. The role of Kyai as a cultural broker has changed in line with changes in Indonesia's sociocultural and political systems. To continue to exist, Kyai needs to combine religious and secular knowledge and be involved in the NU political party, which has a coordinated organizational structure from the central to the branch level

    Breaking the Dullness of Thought Among Nahdliyin: The Genealogy of KH. Sahal Mahfudh's Civilization Jurisprudence

    This article discusses the central role of the KH. Sahal Mahfudh as a breaker of thought dullness among Nahdliyin through a genealogical approach to the jurisprudence of civilization. Nahdlatul Ulama (NU), one of the largest Islamic organizations in Indonesia, plays a significant role in shaping the religious identity and civilization of society. However, like other organizations, NU also face challenges in the face of rapid social, political, and technological changes. KH Sahal Mahfudh, a renowned scholar and NU leader, became a key figure who carried out the mission of renewing the understanding of jurisprudence among Nahdliyin. This article describes the genealogy of jurisprudence thought among Nahdliyin since the beginning of NU to KH. Sahal Mahfudh's role as a pioneer in reviving and renewing scientific discourse within the NU. Through the genealogy analysis method, this article traces the origins of jurisprudence in Nahdliyin and examines its development from time to time. The results show that over time, jurisprudent thinking among Nahdliyin tends to experience stagnation, especially in dealing with contemporary issues. This poses a challenge to answering the problems of Islamic laws that are relevant to the context of the times. KH Sahal Mahfudh, with his progressive and inclusive vision, succeeded in offering a jurisprudent approach that is relevant and adaptive to changing times. Through his work, he invited Nahdliyin to re-explore the roots of authentic Islamic science, while still paying attention to the context of modern civilization. KH. Sahal Mahfudh's important contribution to developing scientific discourse among Nahdliyin helped unravel the stagnation of thought and paved the way for the continuous renewal of Islamic thought. Thus, this article provides insight into the importance of the renewal of thought among Nahdliyin, especially in the context of modern civilization. The genealogy of civilization jurisprudence is described through the role of KH. Sahal Mahfudh provided a valuable contribution to understanding the dynamics of Islamic thought in Indonesia, as well as its relevance in facing various contemporary challenges

    Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melakukan analisa pasal 156 (c) KHI yang memiliki kekosongan hukum, yaitu tidak menyebutkan secara jelas dan tegas tentang persoalan jika ibu mampu melakukan pengasuhan, namun ayah enggan untuk memberi nafkah, sehingga anak terlantar karena ibu di lain sisi tidak memiliki penghasilan. Penelitian ini tergolong library research dengan pendekatan kualitatif normatif. Metode pengolahan data dan penarikan kesimpulan yang dipakai adalah analisa konten (Content Analysis). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa persoalan di atas harus dipandang dari sisi maqāshid al-syarī’ah karena berkaitan erat dengan hak asuh ibu apakah masih bisa dipertahankan atau justru lebih baik diserahkan ke pihak yang juga memiliki hak asuh. Jika anak tetap diasuh oleh ibu, maka akan  muncul mudharat, namun mudharat tersebut bisa diminimalisir. Sedangkan mudharat yang muncul ketika anak diasuh oleh selain ibu sangat beresiko dan sulit untuk diminimalisir. Maslahat yang didapatkan oleh anak saat diasuh oleh ibu jauh lebih besar dari pada maslahat yang didapatkan oleh anak saat diasuh oleh selain ibu. Oleh karena itu, hak asuh ibu harus tetap dipertahankan karena sangat sesuai dengan teori maqāshid al-syarīa

Beraneka jenis produk yang dihasilkan oleh para pelaku bisnis UMKM juga tidak kalah dari pengusaha besar. Kondisi persaingan pasar di Indonesia yang cukup kompetitif menjadi aspek yang tidak lepas dari perhatian, mereka harus saling bersaing untuk mampu menjadi yang diminati di pasar. Perlu adanya kurasi produk untuk melakukan pengecekan kualitas produk UMKM agar dapat memiliki nilai jual tinggi dalam sektor pasar tradisional, modern, dan juga internasional. Penelitian ini bertujuan guna mengetahui pengaruh kurasi packaging umkm yang dilakukan oleh rumah kurasi kediri dalam meningkatkan minat beli konsumen. Metode penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif dengan penelitian lapangan (field research). Sumber data merupakan sumber primer yang didapat dari hasil wawancara dan observasi partisipatif dan sumber sekunder berupa website, dan beberapa dokumen tertulis. Teknik analisis data melalui tahap reduksi data, penyajian data dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil dari penelitian ini adalah bahwa dalam kemasan packaging harus tercantum detail produk secara lengkap yang akan membuat konsumen percaya dengan produk UMKM, Desain kemasan harus menarik sebagaimna prinsip desain, diskusi dan edukasi sebelum membuat desain kemasan merupakan suatu hal yang harus dilakukan untuk mencegah terjadinya salah persepsi antara desainer dan pelanggan, konsisten, tekun, serta jam terbang tinggi merupakan prasayrat untuk menjadi desainer yang mahir dan yang terpenting adalah pelayanan yang ramah

    Extracurricular activities are activities outside of standard curriculum practice hours that are carried out to help to teach participants to improve their abilities according to their abilities and interests. Some problems arise at Wahidiyah Senior High School, students who are active in exploring non-academic activities such as Scout extracurricular activities often give up their academic needs in terms of learning outcomes. This research intends to identify the impact of extracurricular activities on the results of mathematics practice for students in class XI at Wahidiyah Senior High School. This research uses a quantitative approach with 2 variables namely scout extracurricular activities (), and students' practice results (). The population in this research is students of class XI for the academic year 2021 – 2022 at Wahidiyah Senior High School with a total of 198 students. The method of collecting data in this research was purposive sampling. Data was collected using questionnaires with Likert's ratios. Data analysis in this method experiments with a classic assumption experiment using a normality test, heteroscedasticity test, and autocorrelation test. The information analysis method in this research uses simple regression analysis, and experimental F analysis to respond to assumptions with the encouragement of IBM SPSS (Statistical Product and Service Solution) 25.0 for Windows. The results of the information analysis are as follows: (1) Extra-curricular activities affect the mathematics learning outcomes of students in class XI Wahidiyah Senior High School.     This article aims to reveal the concept of P3PPRA in preparing the nation's generation to face the VUCA era. The research method used in this study is descriptive qualitative with a literature review approach. Three main concepts are a reference for tracking data: the P3PPRA, P3, and VUCA World concepts. This study finds that the concept of Pancasila Student Profile and Rahmatan lil Alamin Student Profile (P3PPRA) is a renewal of character education, which philosophically refers to Ki Hadjar Dewantara's educational philosophy about independent humans. Second, the implementation of the Project for Strengthening Pancasila Student Profiles and Rahmatan lil Alamin Student Profiles (P3PPRA) can be carried out through integrated direct and indirect teaching because P3PPRA is an integrated learning activity and is carried out separately from intracurricular subjects. This study concludes that the concept and implementation of P3PPRA, which accommodates a multidisciplinary approach, is a strategy to prepare students who are adaptive to various rapid and spastic changes in life.&nbsp
