A Semiotic Analysis of Mental Health: Depression Reflected in Voices in My Head by Falling in Reverse Music Video

This research discusses the meaning of mental health, specifically depression that is reflected in the lyrics and music video of the song titled Voices in My Head by Falling in Reverse. This research applied qualitative descriptive method along with Roland Barthes semiotic perspective to find the signification process in the data that is related to the issue, and also types of mental disorder limited to depression as outlined by Keliat. The findings reveal how both the lyrics and visual elements in the music video contribute to the representation of mental health issue, it also shows the common struggle of battling inner thoughts and refusing to seek help due to the fear of being shamed by the public. Sublimation of Inspector Lee in Rush Hour 3: Psychoanalysis Study

This research aims to analyse sublimation as one of the defense mechanisms proposed by Freud, focusing on the character of Inspector Lee in the film Rush Hour 3. This study examines the types of sublimation exhibited by Lee and how the mechanism operates within his psychological framework. Freud\u27s theory of defense mechanisms serves as the primary foundation for analysing the character. A descriptive qualitative approach is employed, utilizing film analysis, behavioural observation, and narrative analysis to uncover themes associated with sublimation. The findings indicated that Lee transformed his past experiences, primarily the loss of his parents and co-workers, into his commitment to his career as a law enforcement officer and his martial arts training.  Through sublimation, he managed to handle anxiety while enhancing his sense of duty. By examining defensive mechanisms in fictional characters through the perspective of sublimation, this research advances our knowledge of how they work. The results give a novel viewpoint on the emotional fortitude of action movie heroes and shed light on their psychological complexity

Image Denoising Method Based on 3D Block Matching with Harmonic Filtering in Transform Domain

Today, I will explain an image denoising method based on 3D block matching with harmonic filtering in the transform domain. This topic is important because digital images are susceptible to noise during acquisition, storage, and transmission. Image denoising is crucial in pre-processing and is a key research area in digital image processing and computer vision. Traditional denoising techniques face limitations such as high computational complexity, so combining multiple methods is more effective. The integration of wave-domain harmonic filtering and 3D block matching (BM3D) introduces a new and efficient denoising algorithm. The Euclidean distance approach is used to group similar 2D image blocks into a 3D array. The inverse transformation reconstructs the image, followed by wavelet decomposition to filter high-frequency noise. To prevent edge blurring, the Laplacian-Gaussian algorithm is applied to refine the diffusion model. Finally, wavelet reconstruction is performed to approximate the original image. Experimental results demonstrate that this approach improves information protection and processing speed, making it highly effective in practice

Pengelola jurnal secara umum menghadapi kendala dalam mengelola pernerbitan jurnal. Di Indonesia, pemerintah telah mendorong penerbitan jurnal di berbagai universitas, sehingga satu universitas dapat mengelola dan menerbitkan lebih dari satu jurnal (multijurnal), dan mencakup berbagai bidang. Hal ini berdampak pada semakin beragamnya permasalahan yang dapat muncul. Dashboard dapat digunakan sebagai alat pemantauan yang efektif untuk berbagai hal, termasuk untuk pengelolaan multijurnal. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan model dashboard yang mampu menyajikan data-data penting terkait pengelolaan multijurnal. Model dashboard dibuat dengan memanfaatkan Apache Superset. Data yang digunakan sebagai sumber untuk keperluan visualisasi data diekstraksi dari database Open Journal System (OJS) versi 3.1.1 dan ditransformasi menjadi database analitik. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa model dashboard yang dikembangkan dapat mempermudah penyajian data dan efektif dalam menampilkan informasi yang relevan terkait berbagai aspek pengelolaan jurnal. Pengembangan Aplikasi Sido Chatbot sebagai Aplikasi Pengenalan Objek Wisata Kediri Menggunakan Rule-Based Pattern Matching

Pariwisata merupakan salah satu pendorong utama pertumbuhan ekonomi di Indonesia, dengan kontribusi yang signifikan terhadap lapangan kerja dan ekonomi kreatif. Provinsi Jawa Timur, khususnya Kabupaten Kediri, memiliki potensi besar sebagai destinasi wisata yang berdaya saing. Upaya transformasi digital dalam sektor pariwisata, termasuk pengembangan infrastruktur teknologi dan analisis data, menjadi langkah penting untuk meningkatkan daya tarik wisata. Salah satu solusi efektif dalam memberikan informasi wisata adalah melalui penerapan chatbot. Metodologi kuantitatif deskriptif diterapkan dengan menggunakan pendekatan rule-based pattern matching untuk pengembangan chatbot, serta pengujian keberhasilan mencapai persentase 83,33%, yang mengindikasikan sebagian besar fungsionalitas aplikasi berjalan dengan baik. Namun, masih terdapat area yang memerlukan perbaikan. Untuk meningkatkan performa, perlu diperluas cakupan data latih yang mencakup berbagai jenis percakapan, serta pengintegrasian kecerdasan buatan (AI) guna memperkaya pengetahuan chatbot. PENGARUH AKUNTANSI FORENSIK DAN AUDIT INVESTIGASI TERHADAP PENCEGAHAN KECURANGAN DENGAN MORALITAS SEBAGAI MODERASI

Companies are always faced with indications of fraud issues. Fraud prevention within a company must be accompanied by supportive actions.This research was conducted to determine the influence of forensic accounting and investigative audits on fraud prevention and to determine the influence of individual morality as a moderating variable. The sample in this study was 48 respondents using convenience sampling from state-owned companies in Palembang City. The analysis technique uses PLS-SEM. The results of this research indicate that there is a significant influence of forensic accounting on fraud prevention and the influence of investigative audits on fraud prevention. The moderation test result shows that individual morality does not moderate forensic accounting and investigative audits in influencing fraud prevention. Strategi Peningkatan Kinerja Usaha Mikro Kecil dan Menengah

This study aims to identify the internal and external challenges faced by micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs) in Magelang City and to develop effective strategies for enhancing their overall performance. The sample consists of 215 MSMEs selected through snowball sampling, ensuring a comprehensive representation of the sector. Data analysis utilized the internal-external (IE) matrix and the quantitative strategic planning matrix (QSPM) to generate strategic options. The results demonstrate that the strategic formulation using these matrices produces viable alternatives for MSMEs in Magelang, with a specific focus on a market penetration strategy. Concrete actions to implement this strategy include effective customer management, improving product quality and value, addressing customer complaints promptly, establishing partnerships with customers, and creating integrated distribution channels. By adopting these strategies, MSMEs can significantly enhance their competitive edge and achieve better performance outcomes. This research provides valuable insights for MSMEs seeking to navigate challenges and leverage opportunities in the dynamic business environment of Magelang City. Analisis data menggunakan matriks internal-eksternal (IE) dan matriks perencanaan strategis kuantitatif (QSPM) untuk menghasilkan opsi-opsi strategis. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa perumusan strategi dengan menggunakan matriks-matriks ini menghasilkan alternatif yang layak untuk UMKM di Magelang, dengan fokus khusus pada strategi penetrasi pasar. Tindakan konkret untuk mengimplementasikan strategi ini termasuk manajemen pelanggan yang efektif, meningkatkan kualitas dan nilai produk, menangani keluhan pelanggan dengan segera, membangun kemitraan dengan pelanggan, dan menciptakan saluran distribusi yang terintegrasi. Dengan mengadopsi strategi-strategi ini, UMKM dapat secara signifikan meningkatkan daya saing mereka dan mencapai hasil kinerja yang lebih baik. Characterization Analysis of the Main Character in the Film Hacksaw Ridge (2016)

In a movie, there are personalities developed by every character. The protagonist in the movie possesses traits that need to captivate the audience\u27s attention. Thus, it is important to outline the attributes of the character\u27s traits. For instance, in the film Hacksaw Ridge, the main character is portrayed with a steadfastness in his beliefs. Desmond Doss’s character engages everyone who views the film, immersing them in the atmosphere and allowing them to experience what the character experiences. The aim of analyzing this main character is to understand the personality or qualities of Desmond Doss. The approach employed in carrying out this research is a qualitative method. The data collected for this study consists of dialogues from the character within the film Hacksaw Ridge. The focus of this study is undoubtedly on the character of the main protagonist himself. From the findings of this study, it is evident that Desmond Doss exhibits commendable traits, including bravery, patience, humor, determination, fairness, humor, and adherence to the Bible. Strategic Management of MSME Individual Company Program by the Ministry of Law and Human Rights

Indonesia has the largest number of MSMEs in Southeast Asia. Very few of them are legal. The government introduced the Individual Company (Perusahaan Perseorangan) program to address this issue. The highlighted issue is the socialization activities by the Ministry of Law and Human Rights of the Republic of Indonesia. This study aims to assess whether the socialization strategy conducted is well received by MSMEs, as well as its sustainability strategies, and whether this socialization strategy can move MSMEs toward the objectives set by the organization. This study was conducted in the West Nusa Tenggara Province (Nusa Tenggara Timur/NTB) with phenomenological principles, using Interpretative Phenomenological Analysis (IPA) as data analysis by combining two measurements, namely RMT and EPIC Model, which have never been done before in other studies. Based on Relationship Management Theory and the EPIC Model, this study shows that the Ministry of Law and Human Rights applies an attractive and persuasive strategy so that MSMEs understand the objectives it conveys through the socialization of Individual Companies. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan prinsip fenomenologi, menggunakan Interpretative Phenomenological Analysis (IPA) sebagai analisis data dengan menggabungkan dua pengukuran, yaitu RMT dan EPIC Model, yang belum pernah dilakukan sebelumnya pada penelitian-penelitian lain. Berdasarkan Relationship Management Theory dan EPIC Model, penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa Kemenkumham NTB menerapkan strategi yang menarik dan persuasif agar UMKM memahami tujuan yang disampaikannya melalui sosialisasi Perusahaan Perseorangan, strategi yang berkelanjutan juga dilakukan untuk menjaga hubungan dengan UMKM.
